First of all I salute the ingenuity of the business owner. Few years ago, there was no place to get any Nigerian meal across Rwanda. It's really a welcome development.
Your service isn't also bad but work on the waiting time to get food served.
Also there was something remarkable that happened the last time I was there. My guests placed their orders while I requested for Yamachuma, a local goat minced meat which I was told they don't serve. Since I wanted that and while we waited for the long awaited order for my guests, I decided to order mine from the next door restaurant so that it all get ready at the same time and we can all have our lunch together. How've, the waiters of jollof Kigali found that offensive.
It wasn't that I ordered for what you had in your menu. I had a choice of going to the other restaurant altogether with my guests but I decided to stay with you and use one waiting time to order for only one meal next door so I could eat together and at the same time with my guests in your restaurant.
Anyways, in order not to go and start another round of waiting for my order after leaving this one, I had to leave my guests to have my meal separately. Some waiting in your restaurant and myself going next door to have my lunch. Wasn't really a nice experience. Perhaps a bit of flexibility is good for your customers.
In all, I still appreciate that we have a Nigerian restaurant in Kigali. Good job guys. It can only get...
Read moreWhile in Musanze, I couldn’t get any Nigerian food, but I looked forward to it in Kigali where my family said I would get. Truly, upon arrival in Kigali, I made a request for varieties of Nigerian foods, and they were delivered within an hour. The food was great and perfect.
However, I was disappointed the second day when I tried to go see the place and eat there. Despite ordering ahead on a Saturday, the food took forever to be ready and I was this 🤙 close to losing my patience. In fact, I almost lost appetite. That was very ‘unNigerian.’ So, the lesson is that you have to order way ahead of eating time before going there.
Still, I recommend their food, ambience and customer care. The Nigerian music and people’s around made it...
Read moreI walked into this place excitedly just for the idea of a Nigerian restaurant near my hotel. I was told the placed was filled up and since I didn't have a reservation, I could come back later in the evening. I opted to do 'take away' and they obliged. I placed the order at about 3.44pm. The waiter told me it would take 30mins. I had a meeting for 4.30pm. Afrer 30 mins the waiter said my order wasn't ready. I paid for the food and delivery to my hotel which was about 5mins away. To cut the long story short, I got my order at about 7.20pm. That was after repeated calls and WhatsApp messages spanning an hour. By the way, the order arrived without any spoon or fork! It would be unfortunate if terrible service kills...
