Master Grill — Restaurant in Kigali City

Never eat here if you do not have the entire day because they have the worst waiting time. You will wait for hours for a single order. It’s like they do not even care or do not have any staff in the kitchen. Also, the prices are too high for the portion that comes without any sides most of the time. Highly not recommended for those who want to have a good meal in a relatively short time. If you’re hungry eat somewhere else and then come here to enjoy a beer in the wide open area. I did not enjoy my time the three times I came here, the service is bad and the food is mediocre while the prices are high and the portions are small.

The only thing that is redeeming in this place is about this place is the wife open area but even this is crowded with tables as if they only care about the number of possible customers and the tables themselves look awful and old. They serve in parts, like you need to know which is your best. Arm, leg or ribs🤣🤣 Served with either steamed banana or chips and kacumbali(onions and tomato salads)

The service is awesome, quick and checks on you often to make sure all is well. They have an innovation too for before the bill is prepared a sketch they call "Verification" is presented to you for confirmation

Master Grill used to be one of my favourite places in town, but to me is suffering from too much success. It seems like they've managed to take the old vibe of a grassy field, blaring Celine Dion and a wonderfully open kitchen and instead fill it with claustrophobic tents and a lot of brick. Still, the food is terrific. If you order the nyamachoma, the leg is best but the ribs most fun, make sure you catch them when they cut the meat, they like to do it at a table nearby but is fun to have done...
