Five To Five Hotel — Hotel in Kigali City

One of the best travel decisions I have made in in the last few years was to spend 3 weeks in the Five to Five Hotel in Kigali Rwanda. The amazing staff treated me more like family than a guest, which I am extremely grateful for, making sure that my every need was met, which included shuttling me to the gym, surprising me with a cake, gift, and lovely card on my birthday, which came as a complete surprise. A nice gesture that I will always remember. I was also impressed with the way the staff greeted me warmly each morning and evening. My room was clean and well appointed, and the breakfast buffet each morning was amazing, my favorite meal the banana plantain, and of course the Rwandan coffee. On this trip I was traveling alone, but the next time I will be with my family and to be certain we will book with the Five to Five. Everything about our stay was great except for the fact that there was no hot water ever, at any time during our two day stay. We've also stayed at another 4 star hotel in Kigali (Grand Legacy) during our trip not far from this one which charges three times as much for their rooms and we found the service there far below the service here. This was the only business we found in Kigali where the staff truly go beyond to offer a good service. The breakfast was great and our stay was generally very comfortable. Thanks for the staff, we can recommend this hotel.

The breakfast area is very quiet and relaxing, sometimes during the night there might be some noise because the area seems to be a bit of a party area but I really loved the vibe of the breakfast.

We visited this hotel on 6th December 2024 to celebrate my sister’s graduation, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. What they promised us wasn’t delivered, and instead of being happy on her big day, my sister ended up sad and in tears.

The service was extremely poor – for instance, I asked for a spoon at the buffet, and a staff member rudely refused, claiming they were out. There was no respect or effort to accommodate the guests. It was clear there was no proper teamwork, and the overall service lacked professionalism.

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a stress-free, enjoyable event. Please work on improving your service and treating guests...
