We meet a friend and surprisingly all theee of us really enjoyed our food

Hubby had a perfectly cooked tender and nicely seasoned filet mignon steak with sides for 25,000 rwf. That’s more or less the going price for filet in Kigali and his plate was generous on portioned and Delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. Med rare

And for some bizarre reason I ordered the beef lasagne ..first time in 3 years in rwanda I’ve ordered pasta It was delicious..my only suggestion for the lasagne is it should come with something like garlic bread or a small salad for the price tag of rwf 25,000 compared to filet and salmon at the same price which both had ample sides. The portion. Was generous but the fish and meat portions were also generous and they both came with sides for the same price. Garlic bread or a balsamic or Caesar side salad would round out the lasagne but for taste the lasagne was the top hit of all 3 dishes. Now why 2/5, for the simple reason that I had a 20€ approx. Virgin mojito. I don’t understand the trend of overpricing things, it is really not about the money but the principle.
