Chem Chem Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Kimihurura

Chem Chem Restaurant is attached to the hotel that I stayed at for two months over the summer. I can confidently say that Chem Chem has the best service, the best prices, and the best atmosphere of any restaurant in Kimihurura (which is saying something because there are some great restaurants in that neighborhood). I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Chem Chem more times than I can count, and I was perfectly satisfied with the entire experience each time. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, and portions are generous. Furthermore, I have made genuine friends with the staff, so much so that I have gone for food or for drinks with them. I lived above Chem Chem for two months. The staff at Chem Chem were some of the kindest, most hospitable people that I have met. The service was wonderful. The food is delicious, and the best priced in the area, as is the coffee. The pool is cleaned daily and diligently. Rafiki is a charming man who will always make you feel at home. Roger is an inquisitive guy who will take a genuine interest in you and your needs. This beautiful spot in the Kigali business district was a perfect option for a last minute meal on New Years Eve. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional and at a good price for the area.

There are a number of meat and vegetarian options and the view and decor are higher-end.
