Awani — Restaurant in Al Maathar Municipality

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant, and I couldn't be more impressed. The cozy decor and the picturesque view outside create a perfect ambiance for a delightful dining experience. The outside area, overlooking a fountain on the first floor, was simply stunning.

What sets this place apart is not just its atmosphere but also the incredible value for money it offers. The menu is diverse, and the Jordanian Mansaf I ordered blew my mind. It's a rare find to experience such an authentic and delicious Mansaf outside of Jordan. The culinary expertise of the chefs is truly commendable.

A special shoutout to the exceptional team, including Perirre, Elas, Israa, and the shisha guys, who made our visit memorable with their warm welcome and top-notch service. My friends and I had a fantastic time, and we're already looking forward to returning. The majority of the food was yummy and the quality is good. However, the attitude of the staff (especially the supervisor if I’m not mistaken) was bad. As we have ordered the lunch offer at 4:57 ( it ends on 5:00 pm), and after the waiter went to register the order in the system the supervisor came at 5:02 pm saying that placing this offer in the system isn’t possible as the time now is passed 5:00 we said that our order was placed before 5:00 pm by a few minutes and thats legally should be considered! We’re not stupid how come a system won’t accept that?! He repeated the same nonsense thing lol. Then suddenly came after that wanting to confirm the order and when I again said that this doesn’t make any sense he said why are you dissatisfied?? ( with a very disrespectful tone ) I asked the manger and he said its ok to consider the offer for them! ( with no pre explanation). Overall, I might prefer to order online instead of visiting as this place lacks...

As much as I like this restaurant they have a horrible attitude towards the labor. We came in for iftar with our driver and they served fatoor to everyone except our driver, 10 mins after adaan they brought him dates and a drink. This to me is unacceptable and an absolute shame. I requested 3 times and my mother before that they serve him and all we received were false promises ... Shame

I am adding to my original review of 5 days ago, to say AWANI responded to that review saying sorry and we wish to contact you to discuss, I was willing to take from my personal time and sent them my email with the intent to listen and help with possible suggestions and solutions for improvement but they never reached out.

Have they shown the people (you, the future customer) they truely care by connecting and responding, Unfortunately NOT, was there intent to take action or just to SHOW intent, i don't know.
