I love the hard tacos. Even when I order them through delivery apps, they arrive hot and crunchy. If I let them sit too long, I just toss them in an air fryer for 4-5 minutes and they are perfect again.
I also like their chimichangas, quesadillas, and burritos. Honestly, I have never been disappointed.
They do have some strange filling options - such as broccoli and radishes - but I just skip those and choose whatever I like in my tacos.
The food is made directly in front of you, so they can’t make mistakes if you’re paying attention. You can even ask for a little bit extra of each ingredient and they are happy to add some in.
Their sauces are where they really stand out from their competition. The chimichanga sauce is by far my favorite (tasting similar to Somali bisbas), with a tangy, spicy flavor that isn’t so hot you lose your mind.
That is reserved for their hottest sauce. Normally, that is the one I go for, but not at Mexika. It is very spicy, so I opt for the medium to get a nice kick that doesn’t destroy...
Read moreI haven't had anything here that I disliked. Everything is consistently cooked and seasoned well, of good quality and fresh (you're not getting any weird pieces of brown lettuce or tomato cores, chips and taco shells are always crispy and fresh). There's always at least one person who can take your order in English if you can't speak Arabic, which I really appreciate. The menu is actually really big for the setup they have, so ordering can be a little awkward if you're a family where one person wants something cooked and the other wants something off the build-it-yourself line, but it always works out (and it's worth trying those cooked items, like the shakshuka burrito. Really tasty.) Staff are personable, good at putting together food, and keep the dining room really...
Read moreI gave this place 5 stars for service and food was very well prepared, only thing I wish they had better tortilla. Flavors shocked me and I didn't expect it to have that flavor of a fast food Mexcan restaurant . I would recommend this place as it is better than Chipotle. The gentleman at the register was helpful and my order came very fast. I decided to try a chicken burrito with black beans and Spanish rice, i added the spicy sauce along with their chimichurri sauce and it had all the spice and flavors you could imagine a Taqueria would have. Price also was decent and the inside atmosphere is beautiful. They even had Mexican music playing. As a Mexican I approve this location for a fast food style...
