: Curiosity always gets the best of me, my curiosity led me here to BACO, Riyadh restaurant! Being able to taste a delightful fusion of Asian and Mexican cuisine, offering a tantalising menu to their customers that serves a variety of flavours. During our late night visit, we are greeted by the restaurant staff and immediately attended our needs. It was like a good vibes to start the night. The restaurant's modern minimalist interior and efficient service exude an excellent ambiance, making it the perfect spot to savour these delicious dishes. Each table has two sauces: a red one that goes best with Asian items and a green one that pairs well with the Latin American dishes such as the tacos..Still curiousity made me try it! 😅 - specifically, the red one is like a chili oil infused with chili peppers and I think it goes well with their baos. A must-try and I do believe that is commonly ordered is the Asian fries, a fries made with thinly sliced beef and sriracha hollandaise. I’m gonna give a 10/10 rate for just this one. It has its own distinct flavor that I think it would make me crave for it more. The menu also boasts unique options like Kimchi rice with a bit spicy 🌶️ consist of beef bulgogi, runny egg, sauteed spinach, mushrooms, nori togarashi and the kimchi itself! As for the drinks, they have some good choices to choose from but we tried the red lychee and the glitch which has been introduced to us by their staff. Prices are under 30SR for tacos and baos served as one piece per order. Bowls, Salads, Sandos, cold drinks and desserts are also available in the menu. Spice levels are indicated on the menu as well as seafood and veggie options. Everything was perfect! Giving us an unforgettable dining experience. So, if you’re after somewhere you’d like to eat quickly? Or just looking for a new spot to enjoy a fun evening out with friends? Better try to check out...
Read moreYesterday, I had a wonderful night at BACO, and let me tell you This wasn’t just dinner… this was a FLAVOUR ROLLERCOASTER with the VIBE on MAX!
From the second we sat down, the place was popping energy, music, and the Hype turned ALL the way up.
Here’s what went DOWN:
Truffle Salad TRUFFLE. WASABI. CREAMY. DRESSING. Who even thinks of that?! I’ve never had anything like it. It was fresh, bold, and just straight-up genius. That’s not a salad, that’s a mic drop in a bowl!
Thai Chicken Gyoza They came in JUICY and golden fried to absolute perfection. Crispy edges, tender inside each bite was a kick of flavour.
Karaage Bao Pillow, soft bao, tasty karaage… it was good, don’t get me wrong. But honestly? After everything else BACO was throwing at me, this one felt like the calm in the storm. Still solid, just didn’t steal the spotlight.
Japanese & Korean Sliders Smashed Wagyu on the Japanese side rich, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. And that Korean fried chicken slider with that tangy-sweet keck its a flavour fireworks!
Asian Fries I’m gonna need y’all to rename these to: “Must-Have Fries” Crispy, seasoned perfectly, dripping in flavour, topped with a cheesy sauce and marinated beef that was so tender Everything just came together so perfectly
And let me be honest for a sec it was all so stunning, I forgot to take a single photo. I was too busy being hypnotised by the flavours and the whole vibe.
And special shoutout to Abdulaziz the man’s a legend. Friendly, helpful, and on point from start to finish. He’s part of the BACO magic.
Bottom line? BACO isn’t just a restaurant. It’s an exhilarating culinary experience. A flavour-packed journey you’ll talk about for days. FIVE STARS. FULL STOP. Already planning...
Read moreIG: @restless_diner I supposed to know what to expect because i already tried their Jeddah branch but Riyadh had its own different version of the place. From the moment I walked in, the interior was simple but the atmosphere was very vibrant and buzzing with energy. The modern decor and upbeat music created a lively and welcoming atmosphere. It seems to be a perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends as such was the crowd and i didnt notice families around. The menu was diverse and filled with creative options mostly on Asian fusion. I ended up trying their truffle green salad which was heavenly, prawn gyoza and indo-mi. They’ve a good range of baos, tacos, sliders and bowls but i was alone so didnt order much. Not too spectacular in terms of taste but all were flavorful. Serving size looked small but for me they’re adequate i.e. especially for someone who eats to fill and not to get full. The service was just right and it’s understandable that the staff were not that attentive because the place was really packed which is a good indication. Overall, this restaurant is worth trying for anyone looking for a unique dining experience. The combination of vibrant ambiance, creative dishes, and friendly service makes it a standout choice for a casual and chill...
