IDMI COFFEE ROASTERS — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

The place looks in its beta kinda opening. However, overall, it was a nice experience I tried their bigne ricotta that had Nutella chocolate too in the stuffing and it was delicious and not overwhelmingly sweet. The guy at the cashier, although he might be the owner as he was acting so, was kinda awkward and not very welcoming refusing to give any suggestions from the menu and kept repeating people have different tastes and I don’t know what’s your taste is like. He seemed misinformed and possibly newly trained. He even asked me to use the neighboring cafe toilet instead of theirs! The latte is ok but seemed as that it didn’t have a strong body and the notes were so subtle that you feel as the milk was the star and not the coffee They offer outdoor seats, which are nice if it was a nice weather It is a nice place to try if you were drinking nearby but I wouldn’t start my car engine to drive there....

IDMI has mastered the two crafts of coffee roasting and brewing. Coffee from IDMI is more than just a drink, but rather an experience where you engage with the cup and the cup starts speaking to you. I have never felt the true notes of coffee the way I do here every time I try different beans.

I tried IDMI coffee @ home and both the espresso and pour overs were awesome.

The bakery section is quite rich. Calories-watchers need to proceed with caution though.

Aside from that, the staff are super cool super friendly and readily available to extend advice. The simplistic decoration and modern design is prevalent all around.

From someone who tried cafes all around the globule, I think IDMI is doing it right and I hope to see more branches across Saudi Arabia...

It’s a small shop so there’s more chances of it getting crowded, but “Idmi Coffee” is a cafe that the locals are willing to try out! The pictures didn’t come out the way I wanted them to but I had a good time there!

I waited in line and asked for their signature drinks in both hot and cold. I was told that their best seller in hot coffee was the flat white, while the Idmi signature being recommended for the cold. The Flat White was great, the strong taste of coffee was a bit overpowering for me so I decided to add a bit of sugar and after that it was perfect. The Idmi Signature however tasted more milky than anything, I’d like to go there and try out more...
