If you are not an Arab, kindly do not patronise this restaurant, as there is mild racism!! Yes you read right!! We walked in and had to wait for an unbelievable half an hour. Diners were passing by, coming after us, got their orders, but we were just in plain sight, dressed to kill, yet not a single waiter approached us. They passed by, and a robust tired looking chap, kept tapping a tab saying it was out of system or such! On a Friday night!!! Yet others got their order, coming after us. Is it because we are not Arabs?!!! We asked the hapless looking valets outside, who looked on sheepishly as we walked across to the Pizza Hut opposite. There, The ambience was a stark contrast; no blaring and irritating Loud Arabic music which grates into the eardrums, no hustle or bustle. Got the food in double quick time and headed back.
We thought to try out the Lebanese experience and as we entered, we thought we'd get one!! We left unserved, irritated, tired, hungry and disillusioned. We'll never go back again!
Those still venturing to dine here kindly take note a few observations that we had time to do so, as we sat idle for half an hour. The waiters are tired, harried and clearly lack professional experience. Further a tray of sandwiches were dropped. We observed the one close to the waiting station, pick the dropped sandwich on the tray. After sometime, the other waiter quietly picked it up and away to the tables upstairs. They literally got street food!! Therefore kindly dine downstairs, so you could observe. The waiters were pretty clumsy and kept dashing and dropping. The din was deafening with blaring Arabic music, clattering utensils and rushed up staff. There's no way a conversation could take place with such a rumpus.
Not at all worth an experience. If this is the same with All Lebanese hospitality, we'll stick to the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Allo Beirut, a delightful Lebanese restaurant located on Olayya Street in Riyadh, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the beautiful decor that perfectly blends traditional Lebanese elements with a modern touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Now, let's talk about the food—absolutely superb! We ordered a variety of dishes, including soup, shawarma, fattoush, lamb, and refreshing orange juice. Each dish was a flavor explosion, and I would rate them all a solid 9/10. The shawarma was particularly outstanding, tender and bursting with spices, while the fattoush was fresh and vibrant, making it the perfect accompaniment. What impressed me even more was the economical pricing. You get incredible quality and generous portions without breaking the bank, which is a rare find these days. The staff were also a highlight of the experience; they were pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
It's no surprise that the place is always bustling with customers—it's a testament to the fantastic food and atmosphere. Allo Beirut has certainly earned a spot on my list of bookmarked restaurants, and I can't wait to return for another delicious meal. If you're in Riyadh and craving authentic Lebanese cuisine, this is the...

The staff deserves special appreciation for their efficiency and hospitality – they managed orders for such a large group smoothly, ensuring everything was served hot and on time.
The food was impressive, with authentic Lebanese flavors and generous portions that everyone enjoyed. From mezze to grills, each dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and service quality provided.
