Food: The menu is a celebration of Gulf, Bahraini, and Middle Eastern flavors, crafted with organic, seasonal ingredients. I started with the Eggplant Explosion, a highly recommended dish that lived up to its name bursting with smoky, tangy notes and beautifully presented. For the main course, the Juicy Kofta with mashed potatoes was a comforting standout, with tender meat and rich spices that felt like a warm hug from the Gulf. The Butter Chicken Dumplings added a creative Indian-inspired twist, though I found the portion slightly small for the price. Desserts like the Saffron Cheesecake were a delightful finish—creamy and aromatic. While the food was outstanding, some dishes felt a touch overpriced, though the quality of ingredients like pine nuts and premium cuts justified the cost for a special occasion.Atmosphere: Villa Mamas Riyadh is the grandest of the chain’s locations, seating over 200 across multiple floors with two stunning outdoor terraces offering views of Diriyah’s cultural landmarks. The decor, designed by VERHAAL and executed by Havelock One, blends luxurious modern touches with traditional Middle Eastern elements—think intricate beading on wooden doors and an ornate marble fountain. The ambiance feels both elegant and homey, with vibrant colors and soft background music creating a welcoming vibe. The outdoor seating was a highlight, perfect for soaking in the historic surroundings, though it can get busy, so reservations are a must.Service: The staff were professional and attentive, with a special shoutout to our server, who was knowledgeable about the menu and offered spot-on recommendations. Service was swift despite the bustling crowd, and the warm Arabian hospitality made me feel right at home as a tourist. However, some reviews mention occasional lapses, like missed special requests (e.g., birthday acknowledgments), so it’s worth confirming any specific needs in advance.Value: Villa Mamas is undeniably a premium dining experience, with prices reflecting the high-end setting and fine ingredients. Expect to spend around SAR 100–150 per person for a full meal. While some find it pricey compared to other local options, the unique flavors, luxurious ambiance, and prime location make it worth it for a special outing, especially for tourists...

On a Monday evening, our group of 10 had a memorable experience at Villa Mama's in Bujairi Terrace. We were impressed with the staff's accommodating nature as they seamlessly added tables to accommodate more friends joining us. We enjoyed a variety of starters and shared a few mains, which were perfectly portioned for our group. The average cost per person was SAR 280, which we found to be a satisfying value.

The attention to detail was impeccable, with beautifully presented dishes and servers who took the time to introduce each culinary delight. The staff's attentive service went above and beyond, clearing empty plates and refreshing our table settings without us needing to ask twice.

What impressed us most was the bilingual fluency of the staff in Arabic and English, which made for a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests. The mid-November weather added charm to the bustling restaurant and vibrant ambiance of Bujairi. The picturesque palm trees, ambient lighting, and captivating natural architecture breathed life into the surroundings.

The Bujairi staff excelled by effortlessly managing ticket scanning at the main gate, and the restaurant staff excelled further by seamlessly managing ticket scanning and applying credits to our final bill, ensuring a hassle-free experience. A roaming band added to the lively atmosphere, serenading us with delightful melodies while guests happily snapped photos and captured moments through videos.

Before we left, we visited At-Turaif and were amazed by its grandeur in real life. Whether by day or night, its breathtaking allure is a 'must-see' when in Riyadh for business or leisure.

In summary, Villa Mama's, together with the enchanting At-Turaif, made for an unforgettable evening filled with wonderful memories. We commend the welcoming staff, delightful ambiance, and the experiences that will linger in our minds for...

Villa Mamas in Diriyah is not merely a restaurant, it is a lyrical encounter with heritage, memory, and the art of nourishment. Tucked within the historic embrace of Al Bujairi Heritage Park, it stands as a tribute to the soul of Najd and the culinary imagination of Chef Roaya Saleh. The restaurant’s presence in Diriyah, a site that once cradled the First Saudi State, is no coincidence. It is a deliberate fusion of past and present, where mudbrick walls and palm-lined courtyards echo with stories of resilience and grace. Chef Roaya’s journey began in Bahrain, where her passion for food was shaped by childhood travels. Villa Mamas emerged from this tapestry of experience, offering dishes that are not just meals but memories. In Diriyah, her vision finds its most majestic expression. The menu is a celebration of Gulf flavors, saffron-laced biryanis, slow-cooked meats and delicate desserts infused with rosewater and nostalgia. Each plate is a narrative, each spice a verse. The ambience is both elegant and emotive. With seating for over 200 guests, including two outdoor terraces that overlook cultural landmarks, the space invites reflection. The architecture honors Najdi tradition while embracing modern comfort. It is a place where conversations unfold slowly, where the scent of cardamom mingles with the breeze and where the past feels tenderly alive. As someone drawn to places that blend literary depth with sensory delight, Villa Mamas felt like a sanctuary. It is not just the food or the setting, it is the emotional resonance that lingers long after the meal ends. Like a well-crafted ghazal, it leaves you yearning, not for more dishes, but for more moments. Whether you are a seeker of heritage, a lover of poetry, or simply someone who appreciates dignified hospitality, Villa Mamas in Diriyah is a destination that beckons again and again. Waqar...

It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was simply outstanding, with a rich variety of authentic gulf and Indian flavors. Each dish was perfectly prepared, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The atmosphere was another highlight. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that complements the dining experience. The background music added to the charm, with a perfect balance that enhanced the overall mood without being overpowering. A special mention to our server, Imran, who truly elevated our visit. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. His service was impeccable, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout the meal. Overall, villa mama’s Riyadh is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic dining experience in Riyadh. I can’t wait to return and try more of their dishes.

The same amazing quality food by Villa Mamas in all of their other branches! Lucky to have booked well in advance to be able to try it on its very first few days of opening. The booking was so smooth, the location is excellent and the service too, quick and quite outstanding service by all the staff. Portion size is also excellent specially main courses where each is at least enough for two if not more so the item prices might look high but with the portion size it is decent. Booked again for the first available date just so I can enjoy more of the dishes there. I tried Tikka Hummus, very tasty Warak Enab, very tasty Chicken Mathrobah, very famous and very excellent taste Hamoor Sayyadyah, excellent Lahm Mouzat, excellent Um Ali, although it is very different than your regular um ali but I found the traditional taste better Alawi Juice, good Highly recommend and would surely visit again specially during nice weather times as the location is very inviting
