First reaction to Sao Brasil is just confusion. It's a restaurant with that name yet serving Italian cuisine in an outdoor tiki bar setting.
Once you get over the melange of ideas that birthed this establishment, you'll discover a thoroughly capable restaurant serving up some of the best pizza in the city, served up with quality olive oil and sufficiently firey hot sauce. The pizza is certainly the star menu item for the restaurant, as the remainder of the menu is largely subpar in comparison (the pasta was acceptable, but disappointing compared to the competition in the area). The quatre saison is my personal favourite, even if it's not done in the traditional Italian style.

Occasionally, it has a strong odor that resembles pork, which is concerning and creates uncertainty about the type of meat used. This inconsistency is even more troubling because, at times, the beef in the pizza does not have this pork smell.
It would be reassuring if you could confirm that the beef used is indeed beef, as advertised, especially since mix-ups are common in fast foods in the country. Clear communication on this would provide peace of mind to loyal customers...
