Update: This is the fourth time I have been to Smash Burger and the first in the new (to me) expanded footprint.

Lots of nice space to eat in and a good crowd when we were there. The service was a little slow, but we went during a rush and so no problem. The waitstaff were friendly enough and worked to keep the place clean.

The burger was a disappointment this time. It was sloppy and topped with too much condiments and cheese (see photos). We had to use a dozen or more napkins just to keep the ketchup and mustard off our hands. I guess the burgers were fresh, but they were kinda warm but not hot.

We will give it another shot next time we are over that way and it is meal time.

This is a solid, good old-fashioned lunch counter hamburger that is as good and maybe better than Five Guys, Shake Shack, and Smashburger in the US. Fresh meat and simple but excellent burgers make this a go to burger joint in Belgrade. All burgers are made fresh and are worth the wait. Outstanding fries complete the menu that focuses on one thing only - making outstanding hamburgers. The staff was very friendly as well and appreciative of our patronage. Keep up...
