Walter BBQ — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

They cheated us on payment. We had dinner for two on the first of our five nights stay in Beograd. Food was ok. Nothing fancy but ok. Quick service and helpful waiter. They brought two beers instead of one we ordered but still it was ok. Problems started when we asked the bill. It was about 3000dinari and we decided to give a 10% tip. That is 300dinari. The waiter tried to charge 1000 instead. When i objected and told him that it is 300 he said that it is better to give him 400. I was amused by his greedy and said ok 400. My wife paid with card and then we found that he finally changed 500dinari. My friend a tip is not to bargain. I give it not because i am obliged but because i want to reward you. If you think that my tip is small you can decline it politely and everything is fine. I remind you that 10% mens that every 10 customers you get a nice dinner for two just from their tips. Not bad i believe. Your behaviour made us to go to another restaurant the four remaining nights. You lost four more tips and we enjoyed dinner in a better restaurant just across the street and gave to the honest waiter a total of1500 dinars in tips. Once again you got 200 dinars extra but you lost four extra tips and gave a bad reputation to your employer. Keep it that way and soon you will...

Hrana je odlicna, ali totalno ne profisionalno ponasanje za isporuku... tri puta u toku jednog meseca, prilikom narucivane hrane za firmu dobijamo manje obroka al' se uredno naplati... ne preporuvujem nikome da narucuju za deliveri vecu kolicinu obroka, verovatno ce im se desiti da umesto kajmaka dobiju majonez umesto 21 obrok dobiju 15, i da prilikom reklamacije da ce doneti za 30-45 min ne donesu ni posle at vremena i tom prilikom dobiju odgovor "vi ste daleko " Novi Beograd... Pa gospodo, ako Vam nije bilo daleko kako je sad???? bezobrazluk, licemerje, fuuuuuj

The food is good, but totally unprofessional conduct for delivery ... three times in one month, when commissioned delivery we got fewer meals but they orderly collection ... I do not recommend anyone to order to deliver greater amounts of meals, they probably will instead of "kajmak" get mayonnaise ,meal instead of 21 get 15, and when complaints you get an answer that they will bring it for 30-45 min, when you call after one hour you will probably get an answer, "you are so far" - New Belgrade ... So gentlemen, if you were not too far at first time why is now???? arrogance,...

This place has been recommended by many locals so I tried it for lunch. It was not busy at all on Sunday and I was served quickly in a upstairs area. I got Walter cevapi 5 pieces in lepinja and onion with ajvar as side dish. It was really delicious but Id recommend taking the 10 piece portion instead since the meat to bread ratio would be better. Ajvar was also amazing! I also got pancakes with krem for dessert and that was delicious and not too filling as well. The only downside is if there is a lot of smoking people around you in a small and tight air space. Luckily I was already finished eating by then, but didnt want to stick around longer...
