Thyme - StreetFood & Breakfast — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Most od the times everyhtin was good (besides the previous time when we received a pita with raw meat inside, but that was the only time when something went wrong), but today faced a disappointing experience after which not sure that will be ready to give it another shot

Ordered 3 positions for take away, 2 of which turned out to be not what we ordered. Ordered a halapenjo and bacon burger and a falafel pita without onion, instead of which we got a regular smash burger (which I don’t eat) and a beef pita instead of falafel WITH onion (which is also terrible because my partner doesn’t eat neither meet nor onion) The third position was cheese and thank god they didn’t make any mistakes with this item 😅 although I wouldn’t be surprised

Sadly, the dinner was ruined by getting the dishes that we simply don’t eat and had to throw away, and walking back 20 mins from home to ask for a refund or a replacement (which would take another 20 minutes, and then 20 minutes walking back home) was out of our abilities after a long day without a dinner

Paying over 2000rsd for this experience is way too much to risk like this again. We’d better get some sushi which is...

Absolutey smashing tastes - Juneći Burger (beef) or Spicy Chicken Burger are the dishes I would recommend if you come for the first time. Cole slow is great, tastes freshy, and the fries with truffle taste sauce also delicious. Rakia is also a nice addition to the main course. And the desserts - poppy seed dessert is my favourite, pistachio tart is also nice though sometimes the dough is a bit too crispy, hard to break it with the spoon😬 And unfortunately from those many times I've been here, never had a chance to try brownie as it was always not available.

I have just one comment - the pork in the Pulled Pork Burger and in Pita sometimes feels really thick on the sides, it's hard to chew so have to cut those pieces, but in the middle it's so tender and has great synergy with kaimak.

The place is really small, like for 15-16 people max (and I may be even a bit increasing the actual number of seats you can take inside). But it's always an awesome service, clean and fast, and incredibly friendly atmosphere. Well done guys,...

We ordered the jalapeño & bacon triple smash burger and the falafel, they were delicious indeed, and so were the chips. One of the best burgers I have tried in Belgrade and I would definitely try other things from their menu, which seems very interesting.

However, the cannoli (dessert) had really nothing to do with what they are, as the dough wasn’t properly prepared and neither was it fresh, so I left it almost uneaten. I made no issue of it. When I was asked about it while taking the bill, I both praised their mains and gave my honest opinion on the dessert. Sadly, the waitress completely dismissed the criticism and didn’t even bother offering me another option of dessert as replacement, nor did she take the cannoli off the bill (the Serbian way). While I very much enjoyed their burger, this left me feeling disappointed about my experience at Thyme which I very much looked forward...
