Ferdinand knedle — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Great home-made dumplings, dedicated to the tsar Ferdinand. With plum, chocolate and plazma, chocolate and cherry, rafaello, crunchy, coconut... Delicious and original mix of tastes. I strongly recommend. The prices of dumplings are very accessible: from 80 dinars (plum dumpling) to 120 dinars (many other flavors). You can choose among sweet or salty options of dumplings. The salty ones can be with cheese or ham. Nice and quiet in the morning. In the evening, it is full of students, nice and polite young people. Good espresso. Pleasant to sit outdoors. Kind staff. It is a self-service, so, to order, you have to get in and carry your own plate. You can drink lemonade, water and a few other drinks Smoking is allowed outside. The chairs are not the most confortable in the world. You can pay in cash or with card. No toilet at all is a big mistake! How do you think to have a coffee, a tea, a hot chocolate, a lemonade and wait to go elsewhere to the restroom??? All...

Best dumplings in town! "Ferdinand" is a shop specialized for dumplings. They sell wide variety of dumplings, sweet and savoury. When I think of them as a shop where you can buy these excellent treats I can only say: Wow! As a restaurant or a cafe, which they pretend to be, I would say: yuck! Small indoor and outdoor space, no toilet, uncomfortable chairs, noise and polluted air if you're sitting outside (from buses and cars passing by every couple of minutes). The bottom line: I would recommend this place with all of my heart if you want to buy their products and go away, far away (eat dumplings at your home or in a park, if it's beautiful...

Do not even doubt for a second if you're looking for something different as dessert, get right into the Ferdinand's. Still going fresh even late in the evening, unique texture and flavour, intense fillings with various options to make you sit on the fence for couple minutes. Would've loved to try every single one they have but had to decide, you know. The staff speaks English and they're willing to help you to pick some nice ones. We had cherry, lemon, walnut and Bailey's filled ones. BAILEY'S DOES HIT DIFFERENT. The best ever. Highly recommended. The place is cozy and the prices are average, don't mind to try at least 3-4 different...
