What a brilliant museum! It's spotless and really well-kept. I went on a weekday and had the whole place to myself. The collection is beautiful and everything is in pristine condition. The best part? It's free to get in! And the lovely old gentleman on duty said I could just help myself to the souvenir postcards. PTT muzej je osnovan da bi bili sačuvani podaci i predmeti koji predstavljaju istoriju srpske pošte. Zgradu muzeja je projektovao arhitekta Momir Korunović. Muzej je osnovan 1923.god sa idejom da sakuplja i čuva predmete vezane za poštanski saobraćaj. Tokom II svetskog rata eksponati su sklonjeni u trezor Poštanske štedionice i tako sačuvani od uništenja. Muzej je otvoren za posetioce tek 1958.god. Muzejski eksponati su podeljeni u nekoliko zbirki: poštansku zbirku čine predmeti koji su korišćeni u poštanskom saobraćaju: vage, klješta, torbe, uniforme,... originalna diližansa iz XIX veka; tehničku zbirku čine aparati iz telekomunikacije: Morzeov telegraf iz 1855.god, Hjuzov telegraf iz 1891.god, mehanički diktafon "Edisofon" iz 1912.god,..; - - filatelističku zbirku čine domaće (prva štampana marka iz 1866.god) i strane marke.
