Visited here for dinner on a rainy evening, craving something warm and soupy. We ordered two soup bases—sour spicy and tomato—and were thoroughly disappointed. The sour spicy soup was unpleasant and not to our taste, while the tomato soup was bland and flavorless. For the first time at a buffet, we didn’t request a single soup refill, as neither was enjoyable.
The ingredients were equally lackluster. The meat and fish slices were the thinnest we’ve ever seen at any buffet, leaving us unsatisfied and not even full by the end of the meal. At approximately $90 for two, the price felt unjustified compared to other buffet establishments that offer far better quality and variety for the same cost.

Overall, 半亩田 is a great spot for those looking to try something different from the usual hotpot fare. I’d definitely return to explore more...

To other customers: Beware of this owner's extremely poor and dismissive...
