Al Trivio — Restaurant in Bratislava

An unusual place to find in a mall’s food court---elegantly designed, spacious and calm, contrasting with the fast-food joints in the area adjacent to it. Pity they don’t play their own music but you hear the unsophisticated tunes from the mall. Otherwise the atmosphere inside would’ve been spotlessly pleasant.

The menu has what you’d expect from an Italian place. We went for pepperoni and sformatina starters---quickly served, attractively laid out, well spiced and overall tasty---followed by a goat cheese salad and my grilled salmon. The latter made a fish that can often be dull in taste a very nice, intense treat, thanks to the spicing and sauce.

Obviously... Neither the vinegar nor the olive oil bottles contain the original content... They are bottles that have been reffilled by another product.. simple because the labels on the bottles the taps etc are destroyed indicating the bottles have been used multiple times while the bottles are still full of product! I believe same goes for the bottle of water.. the waiter brought it at the table already opened but he must have opened it at the table! These are actions against the law! Food could have been better as well. People please wake up from the dream before giving 5 stars!!! No I didn't complain at the restaurant cause was too...

We had pizza here for dinner, we chose a vegetarian pizza and a quattro stagioni. The vegetarian one was not great, but not bad either. We had a really good lemonade with apples, that was very tasty! The play area is also nice, although I felt it was a bit unsafe that there is a second 'door' on the side, that children would use to get out of the area - they would be in the mall, not on the outside of course but it was just that we had to keep eyes on two ways out instead of only one. It was great that they had the play area but in a way it felt like they weren't very friendly...
