Bombay Express Nivy — Restaurant in Bratislava

DISAPPOINTED to the Core! I am really sorry to witness the state of affairs in the Indian Restaurant at heart of the City. So many negative points, I don’t know how and where to commence:-

I ordered Chana Masala - there was an option of rice or naan along-with it. I ordered with rice but it could not suffice for even half the portion of rice. Quantity of Chana Masala was too less. VALUE FOR MONEY - ZERO.

Quantity served was so less that I had to order some other accompaniment to finish my rice. I asked the waiter at counter but he was unable to offer anything & was sounding clueless. So, for SERVICE - ZERO. Then I asked the girl standing next to him, she offered Rajma mixed with Naan broken into pieces. No where in the world, Rajma is served like this. By the way, Rajma were tasteless, half cooked. There was no option of buying just Mixed Vegetables or Dal or any other accompaniment.

Then I complained to the Chef in the native language. He was disinterested and did not pay any heed to what I said.

Tables were so unclean and no one from the staff bothered to check.

It was so warm inside the restaurant that people were sweating.

My two cents of advice to the owner for FREE; please do not disgrace the basic values of serving Indian food. You are befooling the local people as they are unaware as how the Indian food tastes and served.

First time in my life, I spent close to 25 Euros and came back hungary and totally...

I waited more than 23+ mins for my food in time when the place was not more than 30% occupied. When I noticed my colleague already finished the meal I went to question when I should expect my meal to be ready. I was told to wait for the order no. to appear on the display. The order no. though was neither in column of meals being prepared nor in the ready orders column. When waiting time passed well 20 min I returned to counter claiming that I don't want to wait anymore for the meal (not even requesting any compensation...) and they should not serve the order at all. After a short while staff approached my table that there was a mistake in the system and they will bring the food. Which I just told them not to bring. And got no compensation offer for the such experience. Will definitely not return to...

We visited and individual ordered were placed. My heart broke when I first saw Dal Makhni, the worst iny life. Very thin instead it should be creamy, lighter texture and a bit of indian spice flavours. The bucket in which they serve PLEASE CHECK it is half the portion of bucket is served (I couldn't stop laughing that what fool these restaurant people make us). Naan: rubbery and keep chewing, chewing and chewing. Ice tea: it was served warm and no ice in it and no flavour. It looks like added some colour to warm water. Service: POOR. Although it's fast food but when hardly 2 -3 tables and Staff busy on their mobile phones at least someone can take initiation to take take feedback or ask for refill.

Samosas: it looks like they were not fried to proper temperature. The skin of dough wasn't...
