We have rented a flat in the area for 2 weeks, and were looking for local restaurants. Google recommended MLYN for local food, but that place did not look like it was serving anything edible in the near future. This restaurant was next door, and we were hungry. Did not look like much from the outside, but the inside was spacious and looked nice. The menus were in Slovak, the waitstaff spoke little English. But thanks to modern technology and pictures in the menu, we were able to understand at least approximately what we ordered. And being outside the tourist track where all menus are in 4 languages has its advantages, We had their Hanoi Garden soup, which was absolutely delicious. My husband had shrimp and noodles for main and pronounced it good. I went for the Hanoi Garden whatever it was, thinking that if they put their name on it, they probably try to make something good. And it was. A piece of pork, a piece of tofu, a piece of chicken and something that looked a bit like a spring roll, but different shape - fresh and pickled vegetables, rice with nice sauce and some salted peanuts on the side. I did not like the tofu, bur everything else was delicious....
