Punjabi Dhaba- Prievozska — Restaurant in Bratislava

Stopped in here as we had an itch for some Indian food and this one had good reviews. We walked in and we two of four people here in a very large dining room. So that plus being in a bit of an industrial area made us wonder about our choice. As we waited for our food we noticed a pretty steady procession of delivery people coming in for takeaway orders so this made us a little more comfortable about our choice. Once the food arrives and we started to eat we realized that we had made an excellent choice of dining locations. The papadam had a quite lovely seasoning on it that we hadn’t had before and very tasty. I ordered a lamb dish that was so delicious! Probably the most tender and flavorful lamb I have ever had in an Indian dish! The only drawback for some people is that they do not serve alcohol. The place serves very good Indian food. The 'SPICY' labeled foods are really spicy - be warned! The locale is simple, spacious, if a bit boring. The restaurant is inaccessible by wheelchair. We had to order in English, but I assume the have Slovak speaking waiters during peaks as well. I usually go to the place they have on Sancova street but this one is so much better. In comparison this one is about 6-8 times bigger, brighter, it has so much more seating to offer and they have even one huge round table you can sit with your friends/family at (so many people can eat at this one table like in the old restaurant all together) and you can actually park here without a problem which a huge plus.

Menu is bigger, prices seems to be a little higher (not that much) but the place has much better vibe!! The food is delish like we r used to. And there is still no beer which is shame (no alkohol all together).

All and all still the best Indian restaurant...
