Terrible experience — and that’s before I even got to eat.
I placed an online order and arrived with the clear intention to sit down and eat in the shop. I informed the staff, but they refused to allow it, showing zero flexibility or customer care. I literally had to beg for basic service.
When I finally got my food, the chicken was dry, cold, and barely had any basting — even though I requested extra. It was handed to me without any cutlery. To top it off, I could hear staff talking about me at my table, and the griller was laughing — completely unprofessional and disrespectful to both the customer and the Nando’s brand.
The potato salad was a joke — hardly any peri-naise, and thrown together carelessly.
The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is Sharon. She was kind, listened, and tried to help. It looked like she might be a trainee, and I could clearly see how her own team was working against her. She’s the only reason this gets half a star.
Nando’s — this is not the standard we expect from your brand.

Read moreI had such an incredible experience with the Manager at this store. He really went above and beyond and was so eloquent and professional it really was a breath of fresh air. When the lady with the mic didn't know how to help me as I was going through the drive thru he came to the car and spoke to me.
I had two kids under two at the back and myself and a friend of mine infront and we wanted a whole chicken cut into 8 but I also asked for a lot of packets of hot sauce to make half of the chicken hot coz my kids can't eat hot obviously only lemon and herb.
He gave me half lemon and herb and half hot and he also did the same with the chips, half chips of a sharing portion without the spice and half with the spice. We got the promo of a full chicken and 2 sides with a 1.5l coke. He also gave us plastic cups for the coke and plenty of Napkins and asked if there was anything else.
Really excellent service.
We drove down from Cape Town to go to the home affairs in Paarl. This man deserves to be manager and should definitely get a pay increase running around to cars and checking on all his customers to ensure everyone is happy....
Read moreI honestly take my hat off to the manager at the Paarl branch. They were so busy, being month end and all. The staff were so overwhelmed, understaffed, and overworked but they and their awesome manager handled that hectic chaos like pros. The manager ran from packing orders, to assisting clients paying at the tills, running orders to delivery driver's, packing and GIVING drive thru orders, handling customers complaining, answering the phone, running her brigade by calling out orders from the slips and jumping in in the kitchen to prep orders. All the staff were so nice, friendly and professional during the eruption of utter chaos. I almost had an anxiety attack cause I felt so sorry for them. I have never in my life seen a team like this.
