A Culinary Gem in the Cape Winelands: Noop Restaurant Feels Like a Warm Embrace! Nestled in the picturesque town of Paarl, stepping into Noop restaurant feels like entering a world where an ordinary evening transforms into something truly special. From the moment we walked through the door, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of rustic elegance that immediately put us at ease and set the stage for a truly memorable culinary journey. The service at Noop was absolutely delightful! Our server was so attentive and intuitive, always there when we needed them without ever feeling intrusive. You could tell they had a genuine passion for the food and were eager to share their deep understanding of the menu with us. The pacing of the meal was just perfect – each course arrived with impeccable timing, allowing us plenty of time to truly savour the exquisite flavours and enjoy each other's company. What truly warmed our hearts was the personal touch we experienced. The team at Noop clearly cares deeply about their guests, offering a warmth and genuine care that went above and beyond mere professional service. It felt like being welcomed into a friend's home. The true star of the evening, however, was undoubtedly the food! Each dish presented was a masterpiece – a true testament to culinary artistry. You could see the dedication to quality ingredients and innovative techniques in every bite. The flavours were not just balanced; they danced together in perfect harmony, demonstrating a level of skill and creativity that wouldn't feel out of place in a Michelin-starred establishment. From the tantalizing appetizers to the satisfying entrées and the sweet finale, every element of our meal was executed with precision and a clear love for flavour. Overall, our experience at Noop was nothing short of exceptional. The wonderful combination of outstanding food, impeccable and yet so welcoming service, and a sophisticated yet inviting ambiance makes it a standout destination in the Paarl culinary scene. We wholeheartedly recommend Noop to anyone seeking a truly special and memorable dining experience filled with warmth and deliciousness. More on what made it so special: • Ambience and Setting: The setting of Noop is just lovely! It blends rustic charm with a modern touch, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and incredibly comfortable – a truly good place to relax and enjoy. • Service: The team at Noop are not just well-trained; they are genuinely friendly and welcoming in every aspect. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived until we said our goodbyes. A little peek at the delicious menu items we enjoyed: • Appetizer 1: Gemsbok Carpaccio: This was such a delightful start to our meal! The thin slices of Gemsbok were so flavourful and complemented beautifully by the crispy capers and the delicate shavings of Parmesan and fresh wild rocket. It was a perfect little taste of something special that we thoroughly enjoyed. (5/5!) • Main Course 1: Kalahari Springbok Loin: Oh my goodness, this was the highlight of the evening! The Springbok loin was cooked to perfection – so tender and full of flavour. This was a truly memorable dish that we absolutely loved and are still thinking about! • Main Course 2: Grilled West Coast Sole: We also had the pleasure of enjoying the Grilled West Coast Sole. It was a lovely medium-sized portion, perfectly grilled on the bone and served with a delightful medley of snow peas and broccoli sautéed in butter and lemon. It was accompanied by some wonderful Pave potatoes, making for a truly satisfying course. (4/5) • Dessert 1: Tonka Bean Crème Brûlée: To finish off our wonderful meal, we indulged in the Tonka Bean Crème Brûlée. The homemade vanilla ice cream was a lovely complement to the rich and creamy brûlée, which had a delightful sprinkling of chocolate pearls on top. It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic dining...

..a truly magical place to be celebrating my 72nd birthday 🎂 at where the dishes served are as close as dammit to home cooking! Home baked bread 🥖 and cocktail “Vet-Cakes” are served on the table. Service is Royale, being served by JJ who has been here for the past 20 years working with both owners! It’s fascinating because every time he makes a round there is a new story to be shared about the history of “Noop” The bestest story is where the name “Noop” hails from apparently the first owner went on a trip to the USA 🇺🇸 and he crossed parts with “Snoop Dog” and liked the name soo much that he adopted a nick-name for himself “Noop”! Here is another fact “Zian” the current owner is also the chef so one can savour the passion in every dish that comes out of the kitchen, very unique and insidiously delicious and very home-lii only absolute-lii professional presented. I had the Kalahari “Gemsbok Carpaccio” and stuck to Game by having the Kalahari “Springbok-Loin” both dishes was top class succulent and just about melted in my mouth. The “Mussel-Starter” was so different from other restaurants as it is served in a milk-ii garlic sauce very yummii. Our mains was: - 1, Deboned Lamb neck served with farm fresh vegetables. 2, 200g Rump-Steak served with a side of your choice and onion rings. The meals served was so sufficient that we only ordered one dessert 🍮 and that was the Chefs Caramel treat which the kitchen turned into a “Birthday-Wish” plate so delightful-lii beautiful almost not wanting to eat it up. We real-lii had the time of our lives here and will recommend a visit to this restaurant to all We will most definite-lii return here in the near future. NB! There is enough rooms available on both floors for Private Dining! A love-lii private bar upstairs with a very interesting display of lots of different whiskies and even a private “Cold-Room” with very unique and expensive wines up-to R15000.00 per bottle..Toilets are clean and very well...

Last time I visited I didn't eat but saw beautifully presented dishes coming from the kitchen. This time with my Valentine date a must eat occasion..!! Food was on par with expectations at the prices being charged. Very nice balance of flavours in each dish. It was busy (Valentines night) so meals coming thru was a little slow but I suspect the expertise of meal construction takes a little time anyway. . Chocolate fondant seems to have become standard fare on today's dessert menus and I've had a few. Noop's is the best I've ever encountered. So fried calamari and pork belly were our starters both superb especially the calamari. Duck and lamb neck followed also excellent. Most of our meals were quite rich and fatty and, as a nutritionist I'd like to see a little more emphasis on vegetable portion size with the mains. (I understand that can disturb the plate presentation) Let me say tho', the cutest most delicious baby carrots cooked and presented to perfection. Our waitress was brilliant, please forgive me not remembering her name. Expect waves of gastronomic heaven to wash over you. Oh... I nearly forgot my date, but she was super eye-poppingly beautiful in a red...

Went for lunch there on the public holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the quite and confident service to the excellent food, ambience and extensive wine list, an experience worthwhile. As we normally do we had an array of starters, so as to sample as many different dishes as we could. The duck dumplings really stood out and the seared tuna was brilliant! The wagyu burger that one of the boys had was delicious too! We decided to sample only 3 of the desserts and we'll done to the chef for getting the creme Brule spot on! The perfect combination of silky smooth and creamy, not too gelatinous but just enough to hold it together, and the contrast of the crispy burnt sugar to top it off! Delicious! It was a touch pricy - but then again, you pay for quality. Definitely will be back.

We went for late lunch on a Monday for the first time. Very surprised to see there were still quite a few diners sitting. Assumed it has earned its regulars by the quality of food&service. And the dinning experience proved me right. The main courses were amazing. We ordered pork belly, lamb steak ,line fish and mussels. Every dish was well flavored and cooked to perfection , fish was flaky, pork belly had crispy skin with a touch of salt while not too tough, lamb steak juicy and tender. The creamy sauce of the mussels was one of the best I had tasted. I am looking forward to go back sometime and try different dishes as well as desserts.
