RocoMamas Paarl — Restaurant in Drakenstein Local Municipality

Do not order for delivery on a Friday evening!! We placed an order and the order was accepted online 18:39. We received the order 20:29, and when the ordered came. Our toddlers dinner was not in the delivery. When we called to ask where the chicken strips and chips were, the supposed manager said they would call back in 2 mins. We never heard back again. Our 1 year old was so hungry after waiting 2 hours we had to cook him something when the order came, cause the wings were too spicy to give him and he did not want the burger. Our cheesy fries were so small, we could count the chips in the box. It was rather unfortunate that we had this experience more than once from ordering online from Roco Mamas and honestly we will probably never order from them online again. Even though the wings and burger was cold but still taste nice. The service sucks and communication lacks empathy for customers when we spent R700 for a disappointing dinner. We ordered the Banana & Nutella waffles... They are absolutely insanely nyummy!!!!!!! I love waffles, but this one took all my future expectations to a next level - like seriously!! Definitely meant for chocoholics. This one will have you covered. For sure! I needed to take ice-cream instead of cream, because they did not have cream, which was a bit disappointing, but I ate the ice-cream separately.

We also enjoyed a pink bubblegum milkshake. Yes, you read correctly. This turned my brain upside down... Because I know bubblegum milkshakes as being blue and strawberry as pink. This too was so lekka with a think straw which made it easy to drink as it was nice and thick!

The service was friendly and quick, it was dilivered with a very big smile - we will visit again for sure!!!

Our experience at RocoMamas Paarl was really disappointing. The waiter who served us smelled strongly of alcohol, which was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. He came twice to take our order because the first time he didn’t write everything down, and then gave an excuse that the system was off — yet we could clearly see that other waiters were using it without any problems.

To make things worse, people who arrived after us and had a different waiter received their food before we did. The service was poor and disorganized, and it completely spoiled what should have been an enjoyable meal out.
