KFC Durban (Grey Street) — Restaurant in Durban Central

Had many issues at this branch. Decided not to shop here. Have complained to head office with no response. 1. Give less chicken pieces than what's paid for. 2. Burgers give customer wrong orders, mixing zinger and colonel 3. Staff rude and lie dishonest. 4. Order 9 piece special on sunday pack 6 drumsticks 5. Closing time tell u no burgers you must buy left overs but in morning they selling burgers. Lol 6. Closing time 7pm yet they stop making food at 6:30. Best don't shop at kfc Grey street. Try north beach or suncoast one. Kfc head office have not addressed these issues. After I raised last complaint manager said don't shop at the branch. I raised it would head office they did nothing to address the matter. Lastly always pay with your credit card and service is poor reverse the transaction. These incidents have happen for period of the last 24 months. I'm not the only unhappy customer, please read the other reviews. Lastly by poorly running this branch they are dragging the kfc brand in mud. Too be honest any issue I have had at a nandos branch has always been addressed. CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. kfc need to learn customer service from nandos. I am responding to kfc head office review. I have complained multiple times against this branch, it's staff which is a big problem, as I live in that area. The only conclusion I could draw up was the food stores in city Centre provide poor service, they believe they can do what they want, when they want, I made a lot of share calls 0860 to kfc to complain they did not care. So the solution is too shop only in upmarket affluent areas. Go read all the reviews of kfc Grey street. Lots of people find there service of sub standard quality. Lastly I was asked 2 months ago too go into branch from head office. Because I complained against the branch the manager was abusive. I'm sure Junaid Centre kfc will either close or downsize in years too come. In the past it was a halaal kfc that had high standards. Owner employing the wrong manager who in turn employing abusive staff. Note I'm not saying it, go read other complaints about this branch. No point having a kfc customer care. I asked for a regional manager too call, kfc was not interested. 4 to 12 weeks ago. This branch Grey street Junaid Centre needs to be closely managed by head office.

My reply to you. I did call u guys 12 weeks ago you did nothing. You are only showing concern after I posted my dealings with this branch online. This is more than the food. It's was about a abusive manager. This branch is noted for poor service. They generally get away as their customers don't live in the city. When I called kfc they showed no interest. Please review all customer complaints at this branch. Abusive staff abusive manager.

Visit store on 18 March 2023 staff not want too take order, say use touch screen too capture order, no 6 pc meal on touch screen system not on mobile too, staff not want to assist, ask them too call manager they not interested, I log complaint with head office ask them too get video footage from store. I was at this KFC brach today.The cashier was so rude I would suggest you take her out of the FOH.We ordered your raps and they were out of stock.My question was why?She said we don't have very rudely just before I could say anything on her high voice she started shouting and calling the manager on duty.The description I can give she is a plus size female cashier.I was there at 14:00PM.We don't need such people in the FOH she does not appreciate customers.It feels like she is doing us a favor.Thanks to the manager she tried to help us and resolved the matter.
