I Don’t like to be negative however a while back when two of my friends and I went to this place we were extremely disappointed, first thing the brandy my friend got gave him an allergic reaction and he always drinks Richelieu unless it was mixed with something else when it was served to him, when I arrived the atmosphere was very cold and unwelcoming no music was playing and only two tables but the amount of people at an establishment doesn’t matter it just means there’s no room for mistakes, The price of the food would be acceptable if it was good and it was not, our food was bland no spiciness Or burn, my chicken nachos was old the nachos rock hard ! Old vegetables and overcooked chicken cold as well, My friend ordered build your own wrap thing and she did not even eat one and didn’t take any home, The only shooters they had was and I quote “only Mexican shooters” tequila and ? jagermeister ? 😂 Anyways the place felt quite dirty and waiters should groom a bit more, and it’s not professional in my eyes if management for any business talks loudly about what they are going to have for lunch especially at a restaurant, only good thing was the black cocktail, Was so excited to go to a Mexican restaurant but yeah what happened...

We went to Chingada Wed 15 Jan 2025. This was our first time. We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary and we decided against the restaurant Muse for a change to Mexican food since we love Tacos and Burritos. My husband ordered the platter of R240. I didn't want to order the same as we thought it be too much. So I ordered Tacos and a few Empanadas. when the platter came we were shocked it's like it was spread to make it look full. The 3 ribs were riblets, literally 3 small bones with no meat. 3 small, Soft barbacoa taco. And few chips that looked so poorly. Although nice and crispy chips. 2 big half wings and a small half wing was the only decent meat on the platter. We came home and told the children how we spend R680 and such a disappointment. So all I want to say we are willing to pay give us food. Make your platters appetizing even if u have to up the price. When the platter came we looked at each with disappointment and then I knew my choice of place was a disaster. If only my husband would be happy I would keep my opinion for the...

So far, some of the best food I've had in Port Elizabeth.

I had the Mince Burrito with spur cream and Habenero Salasa, while the person I was with had the Paco Burger, and while it did take some time to get to us it was surely worth the wait.

The burn was not too overwhelming, and the taste was magnificent. As for the Paco burger, I tried an onion ring and a bit of the burger, and for that being the "base" burger, it was simply an incredible flavourful, wonderful bun, patty and caramelized onions. Yet the onion rings were a tad bland.

For dessert, we shared a Key Lemon Pie which was well balanced but needed a bit more of a base and maybe a little less zest at the top.

Some suggestions would be for the menu maybe list what else is in the burrito, (maybe it is just me being unfamiliar with Mexican food) but I did not know the burrito had rice and my stomach and rice don't gell all too great. Then another one is just closing time, how long it took to get the bill, and then pay for it at the end was a bit long. Otherwise,...

What a vibe!? It was fantastically authentic with salsa and merengue music in the background. The lime frozen margaritas are everything and the food was divine. We had the empanadas mixtas, then quesadillas and then some churros and brownie. Sorry about the dessert pics, we were half way through before I took the pic. The brownie was chocolate cake, but the churros were excellent! We had some in Spain and these were actually better! We got to try all the empanadas and the best ones are the pulled pork, cheese & jalapeño and the chicken & chorizo. Quesadillas, we had the veggie one and the chicken chorizo one and they were both amazing! Next time we’re trying the pulled pork. The waiter was great, he never rushed us through any of our courses, which was great. I know it seems like we spent a lot, but we each had a starter, a main and two margaritas each, which chased the price per person up a little.

Ordered food from here via UberEats. The food was great. The packaging was better than other restaurants we ordered from during our stay in PE. I would really recommend that they add cold beverages to their UberEats menu, as no options were available at the time of my order (as per the screenshot attached). Their "extras" and "more" tabs did not have any drinks listed. And there is no tab listed for drinks either. Otherwise, great service, food was prepared, and delivered within good time.
