KFC Heugh Road — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

WOULD HAVE GIVEN A ZERO RATING. THIS IS THE WORST KFC THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. This place does not deserve to be operating. Placed an order via Drive-Thru with an Uber and was told to wait for 10 minutes. DriveThru is supposed to be ready. The wait time was over 30 minutes then the staff came and said the order was missing 3 pieces so they are going to make the 3 pieces which will take a further 10 minutes. Uber was also charging me. I then told them this is unacceptable of them and requested to see the manager.

The manager came with a different story that one of the pots was not functioning hence causing the delay and would give us a bucket of wings for the 3 pieces that are missing. We then requested for the 7 pieces to be brought so we can leave only to know nothing had been done. Seeing that this was now a health concern with the way they are handling food orders, we requested a cash refund for our order and we went hungry.

Other cars were waiting in the car park and orders were all being mixed up. The staff was touching orders to check what's in there without preserving...

Drive-thru sucks! Firstly no one was at the speaker to take our order and then told to drive-thru yet again or come inside! Then when we ordered, their ice cream machine was out of order, they didn't have coleslaw or sparkling water!!! Very poor service!! 2nd Incident, different date (14/02/23). Nothing has improved. Nothing at all. This branch is the armpit of PE. Still no ice cream or milkshake. They advertise that they are open until 9:30pm. At 9pm they put cones in front of the drive-thru. Being fed-up at not being able to get milkshakes for our kids we reverse out of the empty drive-thru (which in the last few seconds had a traffic cone put up)....the "security guard" tells us..."go inside". My hubby tells him we don't want anything since you don't have what we want....the guard just repeats..."go inside"??? Really? Seriously. I think it's time your staff and support staff are taught how to speak to clients and second of all, you may as well close this branch. We've only ever had very bad service here. This branch is an embarrassment to...

Firstly I get a lunch break of 30 min. I was asked to wait for 6 min in the parking lot for my food from the drive through after waiting 20 minutes I get my food but it's missing some of my order. Then I have to wait another 5 minutes to get the rest of my order and I have to eat my lunch in less than 5 minutes. Fast food stores are supposed to be convinient not screw you over and the cashier at the beginning of the drive through clearly didn't know what she was doing as well as at the cashier at the pick up point. And my drink was poured before I had to go wait for over 20 minutes but wasn't given to me until my half order was brought to my car so the ice was completely melted. Finally when my last part of my order was brought to my car it was half open in no bag and leaking all over with fingerprints all over it. I honestly feel sorry for the lady who was bringing me the food she looked so embarrassed. This is not the first time I have had this issue... I will not go back unless I get some kind...
