Absolutely shocking, the owner is a thief! I went for the first time in years and ordered my drinks, a shooter and a DBL Richelieu and coke, paid and went to the bathroom, as I left the bathroom the owner got in my face and was yelling at me in front of everyone to leave her pub immediately. She refused to give me an answer as to why I was being told to leave before even sipping my drink I had paid for she threw me out the back entrance into an unfamiliar alleyway, I was mugged that night too. I am seeking legal advice and will be writing to the papers, what a disgrace of a human being, a really common woman. I will take this further and won't stop until I get justice. Ladies, a dip in confidence can be easily remedied by visiting this fine institution. Booze is cheap, and on Kareoke nights the entertainment is top notch. TOP. NOTCH. Hotdamn. In the space of an hour there was a foot stabbing, 2 guys bought us 23 shots (unprompted), one dude had a crutch and was jabbing a severely impaired friend (?) In the ribs for "sjee nog 'n dop" AND we had a girl dressed in clingwrap belting out Sinead oConnor, sea legs and all. The bartenders are cool guys. Hardly flinched at the clientele's shenanigens. Decent pub situated on the main area of Cape Road. Lots of parking in the rear and easily accessible.

Staff are helpful and friendly. The pub itself is large enough to not be overcrowded and small enough so one does not feel lost..

The prices are reasonable and drink selection varied. Unfortunately on my visit there was no draught avaliable on tap.

Well worth a visit...
