Today I went to lucky to bread , and I was In a bit of a rush but nothing to serious. I went to the counter, and spoke to the lady there who was working with the pastries. So I greeted her and started telling her what I would like for myself and my wife. The lady looked at me then completely looked away whilst this was happening. She then rudely told us to get a seat, so we just got a table and sat down.
Anyways no stress we move on. So when we were at the counter we decided what pastry would like to order. So waitress comes and takes our order. I asked the waiter for a chocolate brownie. So she comes back with our coffee and pastry’s. I see that the brownie was a salted caramel brownie and not just the plain standard one that everyone would know. So no big deal I tell her, I wanted the normal brownie, and then she said “the chocolate box” but In a rude tone like I’m supposed to know what the chocolate box is ? It was just the way she spoke to me which was not nice.
So fast forward I go and speak to the manager Sam (who did greet me properly when I walked in). So I told him about my experience and he said that he would sort it out but in truly great fashion. I’m not one to write poor reviews. But because of how Sam sorted out this situation and was really professional and kind to myself and my wife. I’ll be giving lucky bread a 5 star review.
However the regular staff need an attitude adjustment.
Thank you Sam, for everything and even running to my car in the rain to give us an extra pastry to try out for free. It’s the small things that count. I will be going back...
Read moreWhat an unfortunate experience. First time here with plans to grab breakfast and take online meetings before an in-person meeting nearby at 10:00. When I asked if there was WiFi, I got a dismissive “no” from the waitress. I’ve had to flag someone down with a high waving gesture to get any attention EVERY TIME I’ve wanted to order something…and I’m currently waiting for someone to bring the cashpoint so I can pay (they don’t seem to realise that asking for the bill at The same time as ordering a takeaway coffee means you are in a rush to leave). What is disappointed me the most is that every single time I have managed to catch the eye of a waitress by waving my arms in the air, a glance is passed between the waitresses (two of them in particular) that suggests irritation. It’s such a pity as I would’ve loved to make this coffee shop my base each time I have a meeting in this area. I will certainly...
Read moreAbsolutely divine meal here and the coffee milkshakes are absolutely amazing as they are made with a real espresso and not some syrup flavour, the only complaint I have is the lack of anything gluten free as I am allergic and it limits the options available for a meal. I had the quinoa and it was very good and will definitely eat it again but I would have loved to try some of the delicious sounding options they have on the menu but they are only served on the most amazing variety of breads there but no GF options, apparently they are working on adding that so I will have to just keep coming back to eat and check. My niece definitely recommends the cinnamon bun and it looked delicious but must be shared as it's a...
