Firstly, i also do take the blame on my side as the contact number on your website is different from the one i am using currently, and i only realized after placing the order. I tried changing it, but i was unable to.
Therefore my query is that, i placed the order at 17:41, and the restaurant accepted the order. As i patiently waited until 18:45, i decided to call the restaurant to ask how far my order was, and some lady answered and told me the driver had just left. i then patiently waited until 19:15, and then i called again, second lady now told me that they tried contacting me , but i was unreachable as they do not deliver at my area after 18:00 )bare you, this is not stated on Debonairs Pizza's website, i was supposed to magically know), then i apologized and gave her an alternative number as she said my pizza was coming again, let her call the driver and she would get back to me.
Guess what, i had to call back again around 19:35, as the delivery guy was no where to be seen, and now a guy answered. i then questioned him and asked why the other two ladies lied to me and told me my pizza is coming whilst it wasn't even on its way. He then repeated the same thing that they don't deliver after 18:00, whilst my order was placed before 18:00, and they had tried contacting me, which i apologized for, as they wanted to arrange a place where i could meet the driver to. I had given the second lady an alternative number but they never bothered contacting me again around past 19:00 with that number or even emailing me, as my email address is on my profile. I even had to recharge my phone with airtime numerous times, as i even had to hold before they could answer, and even after answering, there were no straight answers, just until the last guy answered.
the last guy then arranged for me to meet the delivery guy at a nearby Filling Station, and i only got my order at 20:00, from 17:41, and that was not the end of it. I am thankful that the last guy made a plan for it to get delivered, but as i warmed it up, and took my first bite at home, the pizza was so dry and hah little to no taste, and it was supposed to be "Creamy Chicken", but it ended up being a tasteless "Chicken" pizza. I have bought the same flavored pizza before at the Grosvenor Crossing Store, and it was the best ever, that's where i usually buy.
I am thankful of the efforts that were made, but the pizza was bad, it was as it the staff, didn't want to make the pizza at all, i am very disappoint. Order number 94 was delivered as 1 standard 4 seasons, 1 large hawaian, 1 large something meaty and 2 portions of dunking doughnuts. I called in to say that the order was wrong and spoke to Tania (I do stand to be corrected, I didn't really hear her name properly), to report the order being incorrect and when I spoke to her she got me so worked up, I demanded that the outstanding pizza be delivered free of charge and that I will send my son to her because he was crying for his food. I then asked for a manager to speak to and she then proceeded to just leave me with a dead line, without telling me to hold on or anything, she left me saying "hello" about 6 times until I was under the impression that I was cut off! I then get a call from the man that placed the order, Macmillan, whom proceeded to tell me that he took the order correctly to which I told him that we all heard her all place the correct order and that he must not tell me that my daughter's in the wrong! I ordered on the app a large Creamy Chicken Triple Decker, swap the chicken for feta (I am a VERY strict vegetarian and I DO NOT eat meat) - left detailed instructions for the staff ("this is a veggie pizza, no meat pls")
After more than 2 hours I still haven't received my food and after and MANY calls to the call center and receiving ZERO feedback, the final call center operator instructed me to go to the restaurant and demand a refund in person. I did that, and when I arrived, the disinterested looking staff member told me "your pizza is here" and shoved a triple decker into my hands. I accepted the food against my better judgement and when I checked THE PIZZA WAS COVERED IN CHICKEN.
Absolutely abhorrent and unacceptable behavior from a franchise. Their contempt and disdain for their customers is shocking and they simply do not care about customer/work satisfaction. This branch should be closed permanently so that no one will ever be taken advantage of like that. I even tipped the delivery driver on the app FOR A JOB HE DIDN'T END UP DOING since I had to collect my own pizza which was not what I ordered. I hope this place and the owner get sued.
