Laughing Panda — Restaurant in Gauteng

Ordered through Uber Eats and received stale shrimp chips. They stunk up my lounge - had to throw them away. Phoned them (as they seem to demand of their customers) and was told that there's nothing they can do in terms of delivery and that I must come get a replacement when I can. Also implied that the chips could not have been stale, yet they were. Chow mein was also dead average. Noodles were chewy and overcooked.

So you get a 1 star review. If you don't like it, don't make mistakes. Reviews are there to minimise this type of thing from happening so learn to take criticism.

As expected based on other feedback, no accountability from the owner. I don't recall saying that your lady was impolite; your establishment simply couldn't provide a resolution buddy. Chips were stale pal. Either that, or your oil is stale as mentioned by others mate. This is not acceptable despite your willingness to accept it. Hard to take an establishment like...

Wow this place is really special. We had been struggling to find a decent Chinese Restaurant in the area and came across the Laughing Panda on Google Maps and decided to try it out. We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. The food is absolutely delicious 😋 and the staff very friendly and efficient. Ninkie the owner is an amazing gem 💎 of a person and was the icing on the cake for us. Lovely personality and great host. Thank you for treating us to your grans recipe for the best Apple Pie Spring Roll ever tasted. It was delicious. The Teriyaki Korea Chicken was also amazing and the Chow Mein probably the best we have tasted. Yum. We definitely recommend and will definitely be back....

Such a disappointment. Longest I've ever waited for a food delivery, just to receive WARM sushi (fyi: sushi is usually cold, for hygiene reasons). Wont ever order from here again.

Just a note to the owners message below: I can show you the call from Mr. Delivery last night confirming with me that there was problems at the restaurant and that my order was not prepared on time - it even shows on my app how long it took the restaurant to prepare the order. Mr. Delivery fully confirmed that the delays were at the restaurant. I did actually do due diligence before posting a very deserved 1...
