Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in Gauteng

The service is definitely not upto standard. Everytime I get here, it takes them 30min to make my pizza, the place is empty. Upon paying they tell you its 10min. 30 to 45 mins later for 3 pizzas? I will not be buying from them again.

Update: Your website does not even work, my complaint does not submit. So I will leave it here.

This is the 4th time that I have been disappointed by this exact branch. The pizza is always below standard, the topping are non existent on the Pizza. They put the wrong toppings on the Pizza, Today I ordered 2 large cheesy beef and onion pizzas and it had a tomato base? It was basically a Bolognese pizza. I only saw this after arriving at my clients at which point it was too late to go back. All the other branches do not put Tomato base on that pizza. The pizzas always look like they were thrown around and they are most definitely not the same great standard that I get from the other branches. Engen Hatfield Debonairs also takes the longest to make the order. Upon paying, you are told that it will take 10 mins, this was not my case the last 4 times, it was always 40 to 45 min that I had to wait. Keep in mind, the place is empty, I am the only customer, now I see why. I am deeply shocked that this branch has the lowest standard, the other branches are amazing and the pizza is always presented beautifully.

I will most definitely not spend a single cent at this branch again, unless there is an improvement. I will rather drive further to a Romans or Pizza baby and place my business orders there.

I am really not someone who leaves bad reviews or complain, but money is time and 4 times now, I had to call a client and apologize for being late due to your staff taking their time, playing on their phones, and and and.

And when I ask how long before it is ready, they look at me like I am mad. something needs to change.

But for now, I will withhold all my business orders from any Debonairs until they get back to me on this topic.

The service was terrible, I came to collect my order and the guy that was there (light skinned, bit tall and wearing a steers shirt) told me to go to the till in a rude manner, at first I decided to not think much of it and went to the till. When I got to the till I asked to pay and the young lady said sit down for a few minutes am still busy, keep in mind my order was ready some time ago and she's not even serving any one I understand the stuff may be busy at times but these two people were rude but I decided to sit down. 10 minutes later I ask the guy if he would help me so I can just pay and leave but he frowned and very rudely told me to go to the lady, I went back to the lady and she was also rude saiying can't I see she's busy even the other customers are waiting, firstly unless am wrong isn't the stuff supposed to serve as much customers as they can to keep the business going? Yet these were just telling us to sit down. When I finally got the pizza it looked burnt and just had a lot of sauce. This is a great reason for me to stop eating fast foods...

Debonairs Pizza Hatfield has a very welcoming staff that is working there. It's a shame that the food does not meet the standards of the customer service at all.

First of all, the pizza didn't have any cheese. What sort of pizza doesn't have any cheese? But that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was the fact that my pizza had so much sauce. And I'm not talking about good quality sauce. I'm talking about very cheap mayonnaise that seemed to cover the entire pizza. Why on earth would you consider mayonnaise a good sauce to put on pizza? Also, the chicken that was on the pizza looks like it was half eaten. I was far too afraid to even take another bite after what I had witnessed such an atrocity.

Another thing. How do you serve a paying customer warm cold drinks? I was surprised by how hot it was to hold. The fridge seemed to be in working condition. So why would they offer me a warm cold drink?

I'm utterly disappointed with this situation and I'm never going to be patron of any Debonairs...
