It is a lovely, old park in the city of Pretoria, aparantly 45 years old according to legend. It clawed itself back from notoriety as it was a cruising spot in the early 90s - now you will only find the odd office worker on construction guy relaxing over a lunch break. I saw a nesting pair of fairy flycatchers on several occasions near the small pond. There is a nice restaurant with outdoor seats offering lots of children's activities over the weekend.
