Fishaways Kolonnade — Restaurant in Gauteng

I had a frustrating experience with Fishaways Kolonnade Montana, located next to Steers and Debonairs, on Mother’s Day. My online order was incorrect, and after contacting the store, the manager, Orphan, promised a full refund or a replacement meal from Fishaways, Steers, or Debonairs. I chose a replacement from Steers the next day, requesting four Big Bacon Burgers, a quarter chicken, and chips.

Orphan backtracked, stating they could only cover two Big Bacon Burgers, the quarter chicken, and chips, with me paying for the additional two burgers. Reluctantly, I agreed. However, when I got home, I found they had provided regular Bacon Burgers, not the Big Bacon Burgers as requested—marking the second time my order was mishandled.

This felt deceptive, with unfulfilled promises and poor accountability. I’m deeply disappointed and won’t return to Fishaways Kolonnade Montana. I cannot recommend them based on this...

Collected order 19 today the 27th April 2024 as a Takeaway. Meal wa Hake and Rice. In the package there was no utensils to eat that Take away meal. I phone the call center spending more money to find out what I did wrong on this order. It took for the call to be picked and it took even longer for the Store manager to phone me. Last agreement with manager on call was that she will phone me back in 4 to 5 minutes to get my address. Till now it is 20:12pm and she never phoned back. I spent R100 hard earned money for the food and about R30 airtime to phone so I may establish where did I go wrong. I already see I was wrong at choosing to buy at Fish Aways entirely. I am a regular supporter of Fishaways but I had very bad experience today at Fishaways Kolenade. The person that works in the kitchen has no personality at all, he looked like the walking dead to start with and it looked like he wasn't in the mood to work today. The lady at the counter was very friendly but I feel that my order took a bit long to complete and it wasn't a big order. When I eventually received my order I had to ask for my coldrink / juice I paid for and I had to show my slip to prove that I paid for a juice.
