Update: I had to change my review to 1 star (unfortunately zero is not an option) - I must say, they have earned it, as I usually give 4 & 5 stars in reviews.
There is a serious problem with answering phone in this shop, it takes a long time to answer and sometimes no answer. The owner simply loses business because employees do not care! Today, I was adament to ensure they are aware of this - as a business owner in the same area I understand how tough is to invest a lot in a premium business like this, and do not get the return because of employees, action. I called 5times and eventually someone answered. I asked her why it took so long and she said we are busy. I gave my order and when I arrived, I asked Gugu if she answered my phone which she confirmed. She has serious anger issue and gave attitude. I explained to her it is not the way to speak to customers or protect business interest. But she seriously gave me attitude, no apology and a sense of entitlement. I asked for a mager to deal with the issue. I asked the maanger to take my phone number as I want to speak to the owner and give him/her a curtesy call and inform him/her of the issues with employees as the owner may lose business with unhappy customers, However, Mr Abuigail (i might mispell the name) kept me waiting so I left and changed my review rating. If anyone is interested they can react to this review and find me. The owner must dismiss a few emplyees in this branch to protect his business. People who disrespect customers should not easily get hired.

Read moreIt is really sad that Kauai's parent company cares so little about what's going on in this store. I visited this morning, the windows are filthy, the floors are disgusting and the entire restaurant in disarray with an obvious disregard by employees for the "health and wellness" that Kauai stands for. During the first 6 months of Kauai Parktown North opening, we experienced the same issues with a commitment by Head Office to retrain staff. This store had a brief moment of respite with things running the way it should, but as they do not take the residents of Parktown North seriously, I am going to spend my money elsewhere. Open fruit trays next to the juicer with flies walking over cut fruit, this is a big no-no from me. This store is a disgrace with unfriendly staff, rude treatment and the obvious absence of a Manager with passion to take care of this store. It is disgusting. Kauai, no thank you as you clearly do not care. You have lost my respect, from your first store opening where it was so customer focused with incredible quality and top notch service - you have clearly lost the passion for the business. Read moreI ordered a Peanut Butter Bliss and a Beef and Avo Quaesidilla (wrap). I was told that it would take 10 minutes. I got the smoothie, which was fine. After 20 minutes plus, still no wrap. I went to the counter to enquire. It hadn't been made, and no-one was aware that it hadn't been made. Poor management. I was in a bit of a rush, so I just asked for my money back and left. :-( Regarding atmosphere, the place is too cold (too much aircon) 15/10/25 I went again today. The lady who took my order recognized me from before and apologized again. Much better service this time. Got my meal super quick. Smoothie and wrap were good. Felt a bit warmer too.
