McDonald's Irene Village Mall — Restaurant in Gauteng

I went to the Mcdonalds at Irene Village to use the point accumulated via the app. I went inside and used the terminal inside. Selected the items I wanted and scanned the barcode. next this I noticed there was amount added to the redeeming process, I asked one of the ladies to assist and she took me to the counter. Then this manager assisted me but you could see he had no clue how the point system worked. I showed him that the point where deducted via the app and then he phones I assume his IT department. They claimed my points won't be redeemed but I can order the item again once expired. The thing is the apps barcode already expired wat I can't reorder because I don't have the point anymore. Despite having the proof they still didn't want to give my order. The order was 2 Kitkat Mcflurries & Mcfizz, they just give 1 kitkat Mcfulurry. I'm not going to accept that, I used points for more stuff. As I was complaining mr manager started standing with his arms folded with "I'm getting sick of you attitude". I just got fed up and walked out. But then I noticed security sitting on a table behind me, as I was walking out he followed. I asked if he was there for me and the the attitude came from him replying "where must I be". That McDonalds will never see me again even that its around the corner from my place and the app is already deleted. Useless!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I had a complaint with them not only less than a month again that they don't fill the fries completely full to what your ordered. They did give me though a free fires after that but the bad outweighs the good.

Anyone looking at my reviews will see I almost always give 5 stars...because if I find a place I'm happy with, I tend to gravitate back there. We were out, the family was hungry and we saw this Macdonalds. Drive-thru was quick, the staff member taking the order was hilarious and even got us to buy 6 donuts. I don't even eat donuts!!! Didn't even know they sold donuts, but she was a smooth operator and could sell ice to Eskimos. When we got to the window to collect the food we received the food but we were told to park and someone would bring out the donuts. No one arrived, and after a while I went in and our donuts were sitting on the counter and the staff said they were too busy to come to the car. So 0 stars for this. Food was what you expect from Macdonalds but was ice cold by the time we ate, so that was not a pleasant experience. The donuts that messed up everything deserve 5 stars as they were really good (I even tried one). My advice is if you are getting donuts don't order food at the same time. If you are going to, don't do the drive-thru go sit inside. If the staff hadn't been too busy then everything would have been fine and I would have...

I am super disgusted with this McDonald's with the experience I just had today, firstly when I order a large meal she just left without saying anything, and when she came back she said they don't have any large cups for the drink I can only take a medium meal so I said it's fine I'll take the medium, after I gave my order in and ready to pay she ask if it was a strawberry milkshake and I said no I said chocolate more than once when she took my order. So when I got to the next window to pick up my order, the lady at that window didn't know what my order was so she asked me what dit I order, I had to repeat my order AGAIN, once I left I got on to the R21 towards Kempton, when I took the first sip of my milkshake I could taste it was not right as I was on the freeway I couldn't just turn back so I tried to call them (I had to get back to work), but to no surprise there was no answer. I opened the lid and saw it was a very funny color, so one of my co worker took a sip and tasted the same... It was strawberry and chocolate milkshake mixed in one cup... In my life I will never go back there and I will tell all my friends and family about this...
