McDonald's The Grove Mall — Restaurant in Gauteng

This is the worst experience ever!!!!! I drove from Nelspruit to White River for my father's 80th birthday celebration. I stopped at McDonald's, The Grove for breakfast as I am a diabetic and had to eat. I ordered a Egg McMuffin meal and coffee. As I stopped at the take away delivery, the lady gave my coffee through the window. She held the cup on the bottom and as I took it in the middle of the cup, the lid jumped off and the cup folded in half and all that hot coffee exploded over my chest, legs, seats, consol, handbag, cellphone and shoes. I screamed as I was burning and said to the lady I am in the parking area. I got out in the parking area and got a cloth from my car and started to dry myself, my belongings and the inside of my car. That whole time not one McDonald's employee came to assist me or to see if I was fine. I drove back into the lane and asked for the lady manager and explained this horrific experience to her and asked why the delivery lady did not gave my coffee in a cup holder and nobody came to assist me. She said she was aware of the situation but waited for me at the walk in entrance. I shook my head in amazement and told her that while I was burning with hot coffee they wait for me at the door of McDonald's. She apologized and said they will prepare my order with a new cup of coffee. I stop at the delivery entrance and confronted the staff. The lady stood there with a poker face and did not say one word. This time I got a strong cup and the lid properly sealed and in a cup holder. To say the least - This was the most horrible experience ever. I had to go with stained coffee clothing to the celebration with a coffee stained car. Apologies is not sufficient in this...

Today we went to McDonald's in the Grove as we were pressed for time. At first glance the restaurant was dirty and and disorganised. We ordered 2 Big macs and one small ice-cream cone. Our order arrived and we both got an ice cream which we thought was odd but there is a special on the go where you get a code with every Burger so we did not pay it much mind. That is until the lady behind the counter ask for my come back even after I started eating it and proceeded to use the same ice-cream in another customers Mcflurry order 🤮! On closer inspection of our till slip we realised that our meal was way more expensive. On enquiry we were told we order a medium and not a regular. But we never said medium and they never asked. Worst of all is the fact that there wasn't even a medium on the menu. Absolutely no other sizes are actually on the menu apart from burger and regular.

My daughter was there at McD The Grove yesterday. She bought food for R 128.80 and apparently the cashier who was responsible said her card declined and asked her to pay again. It was at 17:33 when I received an sms from my bank and again at 17:35 for the same amount!

I was then alarmed and immediately called my daughter to notify her that she was charged twice, I asked her to give the Cashier the phone , she did and I explained to her (Mmakamogelo Mosia) and she said the money would be returned in 5 minutes but the money was never returned.

When my daughter returned from her outing she informed me that the Cashier was actually very rude and uninterested, she just shove the first receipt aside and said the card has declined without showing her the actual receipt but I do have evidence of smses that the money was deducted twice. I can’t get through the land line to speak to the manager. I need my...
