Nando's Lynnwood Lane — Restaurant in Gauteng

NO Customer service, NO Respect. Sorry to say, but I am disgusted with this branch. I went there all friendly to order, after ordering I left the shop to go to the shop next door (+-10min) , came back and waited at the table where you can pick up your order, COMPLETELY IGNORED AND NOT RECOGNIZED, ended up waiting 20 more minutes for someone to tell me my order is ready, as still no one did. I got up to ask for my order AGAIN and the server looked at me and replied rudely "Yes I called you long time ago"??? Like seriously??? If you knew you called me why didn't you bring it to me or notified me? OR at least just call my order-number again. I asked for cutlery, the same server said in a rude manner NO WE DO NOT HAVE FORKS, one of the ladies there over-heard it and picked up the bag of forks just under the counter next to the guy. Do you call that customer service? Best of all, the food was very cold and no taste on the spicy rice and chicken strips. Nope...

We visited Nando's Lynnwood Lane today and entered a special request. We were told in a very rude manner that they cannot complete the special request. We asked why and they refused to tell us. We requested to speak to the manager and proceeded to enter our order. After receiving our order we asked again to speak to the manager as the order was wrong. The employee goes to call the manager and comes back and tells us that the manager is busy and will not see us. We insist on speaking to the manager for the 3rd time and wait for long to speak to her. She eventually comes out with the rudest attitude and provides no explanation for our concerns and just turns around and walk away. We visited the regularly but today was definitely the last and we will ensure that our office knows about the poor treatment and service. Everyone made us feel like they are doing...

The place is quite beautiful actually and it has a good atmosphere. It is well situated and quiet (at least it was when I was there). The seats are comfortable.

I ordered a wrap meal and a milkshake for take away. The price was quite reasonable. The shake was average, like any other shake. The wrap was small to my surprise but it tasted good. The chips had no flavour but a sachet of salt was placed in the box with the chips. Which I find to be a health risk. There are so many chemicals in this packages and someone decide to put it right with my chips. My other problem was the dirty sauce sachet that was placed on top of my chips as well. Like seriously they could have thrown it on the side where there was no food. Also I was not given any serviettes. Not sure if I had to ask for some.
