Nando's Sunny Park Centre — Restaurant in Gauteng

I’m really disappointed with the service and food quality I received from Nando’s Sunnyside on 1 August. I ordered a Perinaise avocado and caramelised onion burger, and a quarter chicken with chips and a roll. I specifically asked for a leg piece and was told it would take 30 minutes which I was happy to wait for.

Just 9 minutes later, I got a call saying my order was ready. I had only walked about 5 minutes away, so I was surprised. When I opened the food, the chicken was burnt and very small, the burger had no caramelised onions, the avocado was off and slimy, and the Perinaise sauce had soaked into the bun completely. It was clear the food wasn’t freshly prepared.

I agreed to wait longer for fresh food, but they served me old, low-quality food instead. Really...

The service was terrible. First, almost all the tables were dirty with food particles, and we could not find a place to sit. I called the manager to complain... Then she apologised... Tried to clean the table tops and left the chairs, and the floors. The entire time, no one came to check on us... We wanted the remainder of our food as takeaway... But we had to go to the counter to ask.

I would take pictures but there are people sitting on the dirty floors and don't want to make them...

The worst Nando's experience ever, spent R195 on two chicken wraps and chips for me and my wife after a long morning in Pretoria. What was eaten was horrible, only coleslaw and onions in this wrap. So angry because I could not turn back and go and show this to the cashier who took my order as I was enroute back home to Johannesburg. Will definately not order here again, and secondly will definately open my wrap to ensure I'm getting my money worth...
