Steers Drive Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

Giving Up So we go to this Steers most Friday nights for take aways. It's really frustrating. The music is so loud that it's difficult to order. While I am trying to order the servers are not paying attention because they are too busy asking if I want a meal or a combo. I don't know or care about meals or combos. Thats just admin. The chips are always undercooked, so, between trying to talk over the music and fielding questions about combos and meals I have to try to tell them to cook my chips well. To date this has not happened. I have to go home and cook the chips in the air fryer because they are always slightly crunchy inside. Maybe the message doesn't get to the kitchen because the servers are too worried about meals and combos. Then the music .... ugh. It is so loud that we can't even talk amongst ourselves. I don't get it. If I wanted to hear loud music I'd go to a nighclub. I wouldn't go to Steers. And if I wanted a burger I would not go to a nightclub. It is such an unpleasant experience trying to order that it just doesn't feel worth it. I probably won't bother anymore. Just driving up to the building makes me feel tense already. often order the sharable meal with 4 burgers and chips from steers and large cheesy chips topped with jalapeno separately. For the past 3 or 4 times I've made this order I received only the cheesy chips in a box and not the chips that goes with the burgers and yet I paid for them but I kept buying anyway. To my surprise I ordered the same things last night and 2 x chips came.. the ones that go with the burgers and the ones in a box with jalapenos but no cheese sauce. I was so angry coz they were so damn dry and I buy them because of the cheese!!!!! Am unfortunately never buying from steers I had a horrible meal as I was looking forward to the cheesy chips. And this means I've always been robbed off as I'd buy the meal that goes with chips but only receive burgers without chips.
