Supercalifragilistic Bakery — Restaurant in Gauteng

I visited as it looked interesting. Ordered quite a spread of deserts for my party. Not one of the 4 of us managed more than two bites of the brownie, cupcakes, eclair, chocolate balls, even the coffees were weak... The eclair is not what one would expect. It is filled with custard. Despite not complaining to pay for the other goods that we couldn't eat, I did ask the owner if she at least would remove the eclair from the bill as it was not a real eclair and was also very dissapointing. The owner argued with me and showed me the display sign which read "filled with cream" and said that means the same as "custard" so she won't accommodate for me not knowing. Was Charged full price for inedible desserts, too sweet and inconsistent... The poor service - had to walk over to waiter every time I made a request for Bill or water (despite the shop being empty). I left with a bitter taste in my mouth and felt cheated from the time and money I spent there. Not...

I love this place with my whole heart, their coffee is fantastic, the mega cupachino or the ice gingerbread coffee. Their doughnuts and milktart are to die for, all their baked goods are amazing, they are so accommodating. Offer vegan and vegetarian options. Staff are always so friendly. The only thing I don't rave about are their eggs but I'm so fussy with eggs. Personalised cakes are such good value for money, the flavour always comes first at this place. I would highly recommend them to anyone who didn't want to break the bank but still wanted...

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Suzanne, when she went out of her way to help me with a cake and lots of rolls, at short notice (despite a power outage). The carrot cake was very tasty, and even the non-carrot cake eaters loved it. The "hot dog" rolls were huge and exceptionally tasty and fresh. I am so glad I found this gem of a bakery and coffee shop - and I will definitely go back there! Thank you, Suzanne, and your friendly and helpful team....
