For years now i've supported Richmond Cafe, and it's nothing short of a hidden bohemian style gem in the heart of the city. From the moment I entered, I was transported to a world of relaxation and creativity. The service at this cafe is tops. The staff are not only attentive but also incredibly welcoming, making you feel like a cherished guest. Their passion for creating a memorable experience shines through in their friendliness. The food offerings at the Richmond Cafe are a true delight. From artisanal pastries to flavorful brunch options, the menu is a feast for the senses. The dishes are prepared with care and a touch of artistry, ensuring a memorable culinary experience, and dont forget the giant choc chip cookie. But what sets this cafe apart is its diverse drink selection. The coffee is exceptional, and they offer an array of unique and delicious options to suit every palate. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or prefer tea, you'll find something to satisfy your taste buds. What truly makes this cafe special is its Bohemian-inspired atmosphere. It's a creative oasis, a place where you can escape the ordinary and embrace a sense of wanderlust. The eclectic decor, soft ambient music, and cozy nooks provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation or artistic inspiration or in our case the freeedom to play a boardgame like Settlers Of Catan. In summary, the Richmond Cafe is a hidden treasure that I wholeheartedly recommend. With its exceptional service, delectable food, and a diverse range of beverages, it offers an experience that's hard to find elsewhere. If you're in search of a relaxing haven, look no further than this remarkable cafe.

Our little fitness group (Parkrun) is always ready to try new places in the vicinity of the Parkrun we've chosen, and instead of patronising Olive & Plates we chose to go here. When we arrived, this little corner of Richmond was already serving happy, relaxed customers for breakfast. Our server ran down the list of chalkboard offers as well as other things available, like their freshly squeezed juices selection. The chalkboard offers are well priced and well portioned, arriving in good enough time for you to know that it was being freshly prepared. Coffee is great, and you are given a good selection of condiments for your food.

A delightful café in Central Johannesburg. A frequent coffee stop for cyclists and runners. They have someone outside guarding the bikes, so you can sit and have coffee with peace of mind! Really good coffee. We had the toasted banana bread - it was really light and airy, really delicious. A very relaxed atmosphere and beautiful decor. The service was impeccable. I'll definitely be back for another coffee and to try other menu items - they seem to have good pizzas and wide range of beers.

It’s a beautiful addition to life, an escape from the tussle of busy Johannebsurg, nestled between all the glamor and ruggedness there is a spot thats iconically Jozi. It’s a perfect treat. The cheese cake and Tuna melt are a must have! If you wondering the drinks menu is not a lot to process- I strongly suggest their Vietnamese iced coffee. This is the kind of place you sit down In and find yourself escaping into your thoughts, it’s we’re you meet friends, make them and come back after months of being apart to catch up with them, it’s a community marvel.
