A nice little shop with potential to compete against other generic coffee shops on the Montana/Zambezi strip. However, poor client service and bad etiquette left a terrible first impression.

We ordered a Mucho Cappuccino, a White Hot Chocolate, a Chocolate Muffin, and a Classic Toasted Cheese. I even mentioned, "Since we're the only customers here, don't hold back on the cheese."

Our drinks and muffin arrived promptly, showing that Vida Cafe can operate quickly enough to support a drive-thru option as well.

Unfortunately, after about 20 minutes and almost finishing my coffee, I realized my toasted cheese hadn't arrived. This was puzzling since we were the only dine-in customers and the shop was empty.

Then, I noticed two staff members behind the counter picking and wiping a previously cut cake with their bare hands, pushing pieces back together to make it "look better" I suppose. They even licked their fingers during the process and ate some of the crumbs and smaller pieces, a rather shocking spectacle.

After a total of 30 minutes, with our muffin devoured and cups empty, I asked about my toasted cheese. The guy at the counter, clearly oblivious, informed me they indeed had toasted cheese available and it takes about 3 minutes to prepare. So why did my order take 30 minutes? He finally realized and was dumbstruck 🤣

As expected, I received an apology and a less-than-satisfying toasted cheese that left my mouth dryer than the complimentary 70% cocoa chocolate treat I had with my cappuccino.

Overall, a 3/5. My advice to management: buy more cheese for the toasties, keep the coffee as is, but train your staff more thoroughly and ensure they wear gloves when handling...

I ordered a chocolate muffin with a small coffee. The coffee was nice and the muffin was also nice with chocolate in the middle. While I was eating I tasted something weird so I took it out of my mouth and it was a piece of stapel that you put in a stapler that was in my muffin??? How does that happen? So then I was so disgusted and threw away the muffin without eating further. Please do not mix your offices with your kitchen because I do not want to end up in the hospital eating a piece of stapel with a muffin. I'm really confused how that happened and very disgusted!!! I would share a picture but it is not giving me the option to...

The staff here are super friendly and helpful.

However i ordered a peanutbutter frozen yogurt smoothy. And it is was horrible. There should be a warning. Is it supposed to be sour? The staff says it is supposed to be that way. I sent it back. I said i do not want anything else. They felt bad so they brought me some kind of pinapple mango smoothy. And they really meant well. I just like the more nutty creamy tipe of smoothies. I dont want any free stuff. I dont want my money back. I just think that those smoothied should have some kind of a taste indicator or...

We have been coming here for almost two months. Love the way they greet when you enter the store and also when you give a tip. Fresh and delicious good, with a good variety. They are not shy with the icing on their cakes! The carrot cake is amongst the best that I have had. Love the drive through concept. Nice vibe and plenty of plugs to have a quick stop and have a meeting or catching up on emails. Or just a sit down with friends and family. With that said, the star of the show is the employees. They make even the most dreary of morning 👌🏻.
