Generally speaking, it's a great place to come to for a relatively well priced bite and good coffee. Being a trend restaurant one would except it to be more expensive, however their sandwiches and coffee for breakfast are quite suitable in the under R80 category.

It's a friendly and well perceived establishment, who open their drive through very early to the man/woman on the rush to work who don't have time at home for the much needed coffee. However, this brings me to my only issue with this place: the 10 minutes "saved" by not having coffee and food at home are quite quickly lost to waiting at the establishment. Ideally speaking, what ever your speed at home is, double it for a drive through, such as it should save you time, which is compensated by paying for the service. However, the drive through is slower than I am when it comes to morning cappuccino and sandwiches (2x), which means I'll only go here for the delight, not when speed is crucial.

I do recommend one tries it, especially if you have the chance to sit down in the early morning and discuss the days event. Consider walking there to build up an appetite, although there is ample parking in the...

Im not quite the type to complain however my service today was very unpleasant and disappointing. Walking into bootlegger looked so warming and there we’re friendly faces. We chose to sit upstairs where the waiter took the order for the drinks. A waiter came upstairs asking every table who’s cafe latte is she holding and was passed around untill it came to us. My family member got her cafe latte in a cooldrink glass. The ones you generally drink coke in at spur! There is no handle so we had to fold a few serviettes to actually pick it up! And then waiting for my milkshake…. Well… lets just say everyone is done with their coffee’s and Im still waiting. The waiter comes up asked if Im still waiting for my milkshake?? Uhm… isnt she supposed to bring it as she took the order? She then proceeded downstairs to place a new milkshake order. We could hear her shouting the order from downstairs. Oh yes, I should also mention we had 3 different waiters. Eventually my milkshake came with ANOTHER waiter and then she handed it over and then walked away. What about the food order?? At the end.. we ended up leaving without eating.
