For decades, my dining experiences have been almost exclusively at one remarkable spot - Kafe Serefe. Must say I was impressed with the quality of the food and value for money. Even the drinks was value for money. . Your server let you clean you hands and serve some delish turkish delight My wife and I shared starters of wrapped preserved figs and chickpea cakes with yoghurt sauce. There should have been a bit more sauce and thicker but quite nice. The preseved figs did not do it for me ( a bit pretentious dish to satisfy local diners). In hindsight we should have gotten the standard hummus. Tzaziki and flatbread. It would be nice if the have a better variety of mezze since it is Turkish restaurant. The main meal was yoghurt lamb and aubergine and pepper lamb with couscous and a phyllo pastry veg dish. The yoghurt lamb was very good and the lamb in both dishes was good quality and cooked to perfection. The eggplant in the one dish was a bit salty though. We finished off with a tray of deserts and Turkish coffee which is a must have. The service was attentive and friendly and overall a satisfying night of good food that is value for money My only gripe would be that the runners on the tables need to be washed and the place should look cleaner even though you have this...

This is the best place to be on a Thursday!!!! I really want to say thanks to Cathline that's always there to great me with the biggest SMILE when I walk in . She is absolute amazing beyond people. Makes me feel right at HOME and comfortable. Thank you . If you need some delicious mouth watering RIBS this is the place to be meat is so tender it falls of the bones and melts in you're mouth like the Afrikaans saying goes .
