Avoid the food- if you must you can grab a coffee, but rather go to Elvis Brew just a few meters away! Heavily overpriced to eat! The coffee is great though- but that is all! A (one) slice of french toast with two streaks of bacon priced at R70 and it was definitely not worth it. The other person in our party ordered the full portion of eggs Benedict (after we went for a run) and they only brought one English muffin - when asked the waitress said that is the full portion- we showed her the picture and then she came back saying “oh yes it is only the half portion- do you want us to make you the other half as well?” And then- when you want to order any extras the bacon costs R28 and the mushrooms as well. I am vegetarian (and there is no option on the menu for that) so I ordered the breakfast wrap and just asked the waitress if they could swap out the bacon for mushrooms- I asked twice to make sure- all good. When the food arrived the wrap came with eggs and bacon with her response “this is how they make it- I can bring the mushrooms on the side for R28” with no alternative option! So thank you for a breakfast I...

Pathetic. I feel robbed. I ordered 4 chicken wraps for Take Away on Friday 3rd September 2021 at Moerbei. When I got home I had to give it to my dog. There was just this big lump of chicken fried in bread crumbs with some sort of dark green wilted leave. No tomatoes, no onion and no sauce and the wrap itself was soggy. It seems as if the wraps were made earlier and then warmed up in microwave on order. From my experience of chicken wraps bought at other places, a chicken wrap must have smaller pieces of chicken fillet, on it with chopped tomatoes, onion and crispy lettuce with a mayonaisse sauce. And one must be able to pick up the wrap with your hands without it falling apart. I tried to phone to complain but it just goes over to voicemail. I am so disappointed. It is daylight robbery. There also does not seem to be any proper supervision as well. Moerbei will not see me again and I will tell all my friends...

Breakfast number 3 and I really enjoyed being in this eclectic place. Good old "tuisnywerheid" and probably the best "camping" section I've ever seen. The gadgets were absolutely amazing....anything you can think of around the fire, it's already available here....

As for breakfast. Yummy freshly prepared and piping hot! And the plaasbrood is divine. Nicest bread in Hartenbos.....

Mom decided to buck trend and had coffee with cookies & cream Cheesecake for Brekkie🙈!! Travelling with this cheesecake connoisseur is tricky sometimes.....

But Moerby Hartenbos Seefront has the "best Cheesecake" mom has tasted in years!! And there's at least 3 different flavours to choose from.....(guess we going back 🤷🏻🙈❤️) Do beware though. The cake fridge is very dangerous. There's more than just cheesecake.......

Big up for this place. Very different to the norm and it's really worth...
