"Recently, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at LUPA Ballito in the Ballito Lifestyle Mall, and it was truly an exceptional Italian culinary experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, instantly making us feel welcome.
The ambiance of LUPA is delightful, creating a fun and inviting environment perfect for enjoying a long and memorable meal. The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall positive atmosphere, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic.
The menu at LUPA Ballito is a true testament to the flavors of Italy. We indulged in their homemade pasta, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with rich, authentic flavors. The wood-fired pizzas were equally delightful, with a perfectly crisp crust and a tantalizing combination of toppings.
What impressed us most about LUPA was the emphasis on quality ingredients. The organic free-range chicken and the finest veal showcased their commitment to providing top-notch, flavorful dishes. Each bite was a delightful journey through the authentic tastes of Italy.
Not only did LUPA exceed our expectations with their delicious food, but their generous portions also left us fully satisfied. The combination of hearty servings and the inviting atmosphere encouraged us to linger, cherishing every moment with our loved ones.
To complement our meal, we sampled their selection of craft beers and cocktails, which further enhanced the dining experience. The knowledgeable staff helped guide us through the menu, ensuring that we found the perfect beverage to accompany our dishes.
Overall, our visit to LUPA Ballito was nothing short of amazing. The restaurant's commitment to genuine Italian cuisine, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable experience for our family. We highly recommend LUPA to anyone seeking a taste of Italy in Ballito, and we cannot wait to return for another...
Read moreA few days ago, my friend and I ate at this restaurant and when we left, i noticed that my Sunglasses were not in my possession. So I quickly called up my friend to call Lupa as I was on my way home.
My friend called the restaurant and spoke to the waitress who confirmed that the sunglasses was not at the restaurant and she had just cleaned the table soon after we left.
I drove back to the restaurant and requested to see the CCTV footage and the manager on duty refused to let me see the footage of our table but said (from her paper notes) that we ate and this time and I put the sunglasses in my bag as per the camera. She also said that her waiter would not steal anything.
The sunglasses being a pair of Prada Ones is very dear to me and so i insisted to see the footage.
I also asked the Manager to check the camera again if she wouldnt let me too because I definitely dont have the sunglasses.
A few minutes later the Waiter arrived saying that she thinks she threw the sunglasses in the bin and shortly afterwards the Manager on duty arrived with the sunglasses served on a plate.
The story doesnt end here.
A few days after, my friend and I were at a nearby restaurant enjoying some time together when we were rudely approached by a gentlemen who advised us that he was one of the owners at Lupa and Lupa was taking legal action against us for posting accusations on the google platform. He didnt apologise for the inconveniences caused by Lupa and personally we felt infringed being approached by a stranger but moreover a person who claims to be an Owner but hadnt responded to our review with an apology or...
Read moreOur visit to Lupa Ballito on Valentine’s Day was a mix of highs and lows. Given the busy occasion, we expected some delays, but the service struggled at times. Drinks arrived, but my bottled water came without glasses or ice. The glasses eventually came, but the ice remained elusive.
Anticipating a long wait, we smartly ordered everything—drinks, starters, and mains—all at once. Even so, over an hour passed before our food arrived. Getting another round of drinks felt like a mission.
Despite the chaos, Kiren, the manager, and Tyren, the waiter handled the situation well—keeping us informed, apologizing, and doing their best to smooth things over. The live band was a fantastic touch, making the wait more enjoyable.
When the food arrived, it was mostly good, with some room for improvement. The starters were well-balanced and portioned perfectly. The mains were generous, but consistency was an issue. The steak was grilled beautifully, though Landon encountered a tough patch, likely due to fat strips. The risotto was slightly undercooked. The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy, but the sauce was overwhelmingly rich. The chicken was charred on the outside, with some pieces a bit dry. The lasagna, however, was spot-on—flawlessly prepared and devoured in no time.
Overall, Lupa Ballito put in a solid effort given the overwhelming crowd. Perhaps a visit on a quieter day would better showcase what they have to offer, but sometimes, testing a place at its busiest is the best way to judge its...
