OUTSTANDING, EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY CUISINE, LOVING STAFF & WELL PRICED !!! Curry Up is becoming the top curry franchise in South Africa. This new kid on the block is mopping the floor with our past favourite Indian restraunts and take outs. CLEARWATER CURRY UP is sensational. At first glance it is nothing new, the restaurant layouts are the same but the decor is stunning. It immerses you in the a contemporary new look feel of the great Indian culture. The smells emitting from the kitchen are heavenly, nothing gets the old appetite going like it. The array of plates on offer is fantastic, with the classics like the Kormas the Bryanis there are they offer many I haven't even heard of. On offer are single plates, sharing and they also offer large 1L versions of some of there dishes you can take home for the entire family. You have to try the milk tart sammoosas (yeah, just trust me). The food is very well priced and of exceptional quality, the spices are phenomenal and beautifuly prepared. The portions could be a bit larger, in my opinion, but I am a big burly man who probably eats a bit more than Joe over there. The staff pay particular attention to your needs and will rememer you and your preferences after your first visit which makes Curry Up feel like home. Brilliant service! If you are are loving your spices but are still using your old Indian place, you need to Hurry Up and...
Read moreAfter reading all the bad reviews I was scared to get food from this place..much less from Uber eats. I made 2 orders. First order was of the butter chicken, butter naan and tiramisu samosas with chutney on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh, the butter chicken was spiced perfectly and had the perfect kick. The portions were excellent and had me full. The 2nd order was from ‘Pasta Worx’ wasn’t the greatest fan, I had ordered the chicken Alfredo, the chocolate logs, herb/garlic naan and a salad. The salad wasn’t particularly fresh and the pasta was a bit dry and the garlic/herb naan had a bit to much seasonings.. however I did enjoy the chocolate logs.. but less grease would be appreciated. Improvements on grease and freshness would take this restaurant far. Overall I greatly enjoyed the butter chicken and basmati rice, it was so good that I didn’t want to stop eating even when I was full, keep it up! Can’t wait to...
Read moreI had bought chicken biriyani last week from curry up around 19 30 previous Sunday. I took uber home and found during my supper that the chicken was rubbery and the potato was hard as a stone. Today when I went to inform them the chef looked at me as though I was telling a fairy tale and told me that I should have brought back the biriyani on the same day by taking a uber. He was not worried about the quality of the food but was Givingn a sarcastic smile all along when I was talking to him and never apologetic. It was so embarrasing that Indians like him are bringing disgrace to this country. I calmed down because the supervisor stepped in and apologized.... Please never buy anything from this branch as the chef is nothing but a cheap guy who is not fit to be in business. He is such a disgrace. I wonder whether they r serving fresh meat/chicken because I suspect that this chef is cooking with old expired goods.i will never go...
