Panarottis Clearwater Mall — Restaurant in Roodepoort

I am really disappointed with the service we received from your Clearwater store on Sunday Evening 26-05-2024. We were 2 families that went out for supper in the evening, and what a disaster. This is not the first time I have complaint about this store, but it does not seem to get better. We arrived just after 18h00 hrs and was given a table inside we were 10 people. We immediately placed our drinks and food order, as I know that Pannarottis clearwater is famous for being slow. Our drinks arrived and I ordered my cooldrink with out ice but it arrived with ice. We waited till 19h20 from 18h10 for our meals and still nothing happened. This is almost 1 Hr, I then approached the manager that was occupied at the cash desk the whole evening and informed her that we are now heading to 1hr and 30min and still no food. I was informed by her that she was manning the take away section and she will find out from second manager where is the food. Honestly I did not even see a second manager. Eventually after a lot of screaming in the kitchen area between your staff our meals arrived in drips and draps. My Pizza was ice cold but did not say anything as I could not wait another hour for it to be fixed, also my fellow guest at the table food was cold. Eventually after all of this, they realized that they did not make one monster Pizza that was ordered. By this time my guest was fuming and did not want his food anymore. Then all of a sudden the second manager arrived and tried to apologize after the damage was done, stating she was counting stock and could not look after everything. I feel so sorry for the poor waiter that tried to assist us, but it was out of his hands as the managers on shift and kitchen staff did not do their JOB. I work hard for my money and when I visit your establishment I don't eat for free, I pay a lot of money almost R2200 to be exact. But surely I expect better service and food, as I believe this is the whole Idea of eating at a restaurant. You can be guaranteed that I will never visit your establishment again, as nothing is improving at that store. I had a horrible experience, the 2 stars are for the food because the food was good but service I don't know. We arrived there and there was no one to sit us down. when we were finally showed the table it took 15 minutes for someone to attend to us. When we finally got our drinks my 4 year old spilled her cold drink on the table which happens, no one offered to wipe the table and poor thing had to ask me for a tissue and started wiping the table herself. We were 3 adults and two toddlers we asked to be moved to a bigger table as the table were sitting on was bit small our wish was granted but the table were moved to was dirty, we waited for the waiter to clean which she never did she brought our food and put it on the dirty table, at that point we were already irritated with the service that none of us complained we just wanted to eat and leave. Just as we started eating One waiter came rushing with a tray full of Glasses and Ice he dropped some glasses with water and Ice on the floor and the ice water spilled on me and the Broken glass cut my leg. It took 10 minutes for that waiter or someone to come and clean the water off that is when I told him your glass cut me and I felt like my words fell on deaf ears. Only 20 min later someone must have been a supervisor came to our table and instead of asking my sister and I who were both sitting on the side of the broken glass he only asked my sister did not even acknowledge me yet I am the one cut by glass. Horrible service. Waited to be seated, wait staff walked right past us, not acknowledging us who were waiting for a seat. Tables were standing empty and dirty. I had to ask for assistance. One waiter said they are full and I had to ask him what should we then do, his reply was that maybe we can just wait and just carried on with leaving us there not saying anything further. I had to stop and ask another waiter for assistance and only then were we attended to, where they then started cleaning tables so we can sit, after I've pointed this out. We were then told, after being seated that waiting time for food is an additional hour. Waited for 30 min over the estimated time for food to arrive. Waiter just served our drinks and completely forgot that he was assigned to our table. Our drinks came flat and hot. The manager came and then re took our order, our order wasnt even processed after being seated for OVER a WHOLE HOUR. After complaining because our kids were hungry, we were told by the manager that our order was not even put through. We had to pay for our drinks and left with no meal. No empathy or care towards our complaint as they know they will just keep getting customers. Your business is not good enough for them.
